- A short video compilation of some diesel actions that we encountered at jaugram last Wednesday .
The first surprise of the day was 6 hours late running 12370 Haridwar- Howrah Kumbha Express with
freshly POHed HWH WAP 4 #22402 (ex. ASN WAP 6) with dead HWH WDM 3A .
Next was another late runner of that day , 12346 Guwahati - Howrah Saraighat Express running by a delaay of 7 plus hours
with SGUJ WDP 4D #40187 , charges down the down main line with small cloud of smoke bursting upon us .
Then comes the diesel speed runner from Balurghat , 13162 Balurgaht - Kolkata Tebhaga Exp with its usual link of BWN ALCo
WDM 3A #16557R .
Next was 12042 NJP - HWH Shatabdi EXpress aka the Shaan-E-NFR with SGUJ WDP - 4 #20063 creating enormous dust storm at 130 km/h .
Meanwhile BWN WDM - 3A with an NFR based Accident Relief Van and a break down Crane named "Mahabahu" also belonging to NFR
chugs to accelerate . Surprise to see the above NFR combo in ER .
Finally after a delay of about 12-13 mins comes the newbie of IR, 12503 Kamakhya - Bangalore Humsafar Express with new upgraded
NFR rake running for the first time since its inaugral run in 25th Dec , 2016 .

In all these years of watching rail videos, this is the 1st time I saw a EMD blasting so much black smoke....rare capture....diesel locos r beautiful beasts
Have seen this video many times and am watching it again. I remember commenting as well.
The late running trains were awesome. But here Saraighat overshadowed Shatabdi's duststorm by its smoking.
EMD showed that they too can smoke. The aggression also was almost equal to Shatabdi's.
Kumbha with a dead Alco was a surprise.

এটা হাই স্পীড ইঞ্জিনে। তাই হাই স্পীড লাইন না থাকলে এই ইঞ্জিন টা কোনো কাজে আসবে না। তাছাড়া এর দাম ও অনেক বেশি।

Ankush Hait No idea I guess for the rake problem ..departs at 10pm at night and the same rake goes and departs ghy lately..that hwh alco must been in there and finally sent it with down kumbha

sx50HS is out of stock & prodution since many days . You can go for sx70hs , but I will suggest you sx540HS which comes at half the price of the above .

DSLR is not ideal for videogarphy at all . Point & shoot cams are the best .
