    Pro tip, hold shift when you are wanting to change a bunch lines from score to cut, hold shift, click on each line you want to change once highlighted then change from score/scribe to cut -- etc . much less clicking and way faster :) also, how do you get on group that helps x tool make xcs better ? I was a cnc programmer for years and xcs has so many things that would make things SO much more efficient :)

    You might try putting in 0.5. That will probably work.

    I loved your video! My M1 is coming in the next week. :) The Ohuhu paint pens you recommended are sold out in the U.S. Do you have a recommendation for an alternative paint pen?

    Have you tried to cut acrylic? I’m having trouble finding the correct power and speed

    • @creativefriendsdecant
      @creativefriendsdecant  8 місяців тому +1

      Yes I’ve cut xtool acrylic using the recommended settings. DO NOT walk away from it, and make sure you have cleaned debris! Happy to help more on FB Creative Friends Decant, as seeing what’s going on helps and Facebook allows you to share pictures.

    Hi I have D1 10watt also. Does the spacers between your honeycomb and the spoil boards really make a difference?

    hey, thanks for your nice video :), is it better to seal it after draw on the wood with markers, I am a bit afraid that it will wash down if it rains ore something?

    • @creativefriendsdecant
      @creativefriendsdecant  5 місяців тому +1

      I’ve wore them in rain unsealed just fine. I’ve have also finished them with a little UV Resin or mod podge. Both with excellent and give shiny finishes. Hope that helps. 💕

    Nice video. How thick is the wood and how long does it take before the colors fade for the markers?

    • @creativefriendsdecant
      @creativefriendsdecant  Рік тому +1

      I use 3mm wood and so far I don’t have any fading. I do not think they will fade, mine are going in 6 months no fade

    Hey!!! Great video what wood are you using??

    • @creativefriendsdecant
      @creativefriendsdecant  Рік тому

      I’m using xtool wood linked in the description. I’ve used a few things from Menards but I’ve really been too busy to deal with testing. The xtool wood cuts consistently. That’s important to me.

    Do you seal them?

    • @creativefriendsdecant

      No, I don’t always! UV resin is my favorite way if I choose to seal them.

      I’ve done both, left as is and sealed with UV resin. Depends on what look I want.

      Tom I’d recommend contacting the designer or posting some screenshots in our FB group. Then I can take a look. My files are on XTool Community
