My childhood memories are entrenched in Lost Isle. My parents were engaged there in 1968. My brother and I were Island rats, together with the Connor kids Eric and Cindy, and their lab Blackie. As kids we explored every bit of that place. My dad lived on the island for about a year before he married mom. Lost Isle in the 60s was so different: still the best Mai Tais around, but womens bikinis covered their butts and men’s nearly didn’t. No wave runners, but everyone skied. It smelled of grilled burgers and creosote and the delta. I will treasure my childhood there forever.
Sorry to hear. Sounds like kinda weird energy. Take a lesson from Pele in Ha. - do a little "spiritual cleansing" ceremony. Maybe then it will be easier to do a peaceful rebuild. Good luck delta folks. Hope for better days ahead.
How can you go on the news and not know what your what your talking about. This coming from a person who has been working and living out there for three years
Is that why they didn't save the house boat before the bar caught fire? They had plenty of time to. It started burning the next day. Cute little one bedroom too. Sad sad 😢

My God this party island was the place to go.
They were trying to re-open and get stuff together they were trying to fix their work boat so they can start bringing over materials
Just wondering what boat that might be.
