On Billy's official UA-cam channel, there are clips that have 1982 in the title of the video, but they start with a screen saying this was taped 7/11/1983. Weird.

Yup, he used to do this every year at the New School in Greenwich Village but it wasn't advertised, was lucky enough to see the 1989 session!
it's sad that even here, as Billy is trying to give others advice on the music business, he is getting royally screwed by his brother in law ex-manager.
Keep in mind though, after Frank Weber ripped him off Billy ended up firing and screwing over his long time band members, which included Liberty DeVitto, the same men who'd helped him make all the money that he did. No band, before or since has ever matched their musical excellence and had the influence on his music that they did.
@@conan1982Get the story right, he didn’t fire them, he didn’t use them on the last album because the new producer didn’t want to use them.

It's probable that can be from New York, Billy is a New Yorker, and most of his special are in NY.
