Of course they're fake psychics. A psychic isn't, by definition, "someone who scams people by claiming to have supernatural abilities", it's someone who _does_ have supernatural abilities. If someone claimed to be a god, that doesn't make them a god. You could argue there's no such thing, however, that doesn't mean they're actual gods, because you wouldn't change the definition of "god" to mean "someone who pretends to be a divine being".
So essentially, because they're claiming to be something they're not (in this case, psychic), yes, they're fakes.

I had a clairvoyant once that was so bad and so rude that I reached across the table and threw a glass of water in his face. All he could say to that was ‘Wow I didn’t see that coming’!. Jus Sayin!.

It is very hard to convince someone that they are being scammed. My sister in law is a big believer in this, and she was convinced because the "psychic" she went to see "knew" things about her that she supposedly could not have known. I tried to explain to her about cold readings and so on, but the just wouldn't believe me. People believe things that aren't real because it makes them feel good, simple as that.
I demonstrated to an online acquaintance that I could replicate the feats the "definitely psychic medium" had performed. She concluded that I was a real psychic who was pretending to be a fake for some reason.

People still do not know how to solve life's riddles. Religions do exists for this purpose as well. There will always be religions , Psychics , Clairvoyants. It has always been the case for many ages. But they do not ease the Pain and Grief. I think religions , clairvoyants, Psychics is one way to ease pain. What I means to say it is Pain and Grief people do not know what to do with. Is there a way out of this. I say yes. Till people find the way they have to be content with their "grief reducing drugs." . One idea is that perhaps taking drugs to ease grief and pain is not the Answer.

I asked my physics professor about this. While he doubts anyone has these abilities the principle is possible according to the laws of physics.
I'm skeptical about psychics, I've been to a group that had a psychic and she told me things about my grandma that she couldn't possibly know.
Nowadays these people can use the internet to get information about people, however when my grandma was alive, FaceBook didn't exist and she was a very private person. Maybe it was a guess, if so, it was a damn good guess.
If you tell someone something private and then 10 minutes later they show you a drawing or doodle then yeah, it's most likely a scam. If they really are psychic, they'll know that I'm not going to pay. They should know this before even meeting me.
+sirplantain they have good ways to know info, most of the times you give the info yourself. They usually ask you stuff and by looking at you they know what to continue on and what to ignore.

Yes, Im seeing this, and sometimes you miss somethings of your first country. I think that every day you tank´s god for give to you and the peoples that you love a new better life. I saw on you that you value these things. You have to smile more, because this is a good reason to feel pride.
Every person who insists that their psychic reading was legit makes the same basic argument: "I can't think of a way they could' be deceiving me, therefore there's no way they could be deceiving me." It's really narcissistic when you think about it because it boils down to "If I can't think of it, it couldn't possibly exist."
Psychics are like Christians. There are real ones, but most just want stuff from you, and the fakes are the loud ones.
Unless you're a VERY powerful psychic, you're not going to be able to do it on command this strongly. And if they are that powerful, they have better things to do than this.
As well as being a medium or a diviner being separate skills from being a psychic. Being one of these three separately that powerful is unlikely, being all three AND going after chump change is impossible.
Most people with psychic abilities are neither willing or able to pull off these acts. While I shock people by responding to what they were thinking or knowing things I have no way of knowing, I can't do it on command. I lack the skills to make it look like I can. I have as much control over it as I do planes flying over my head. If I see one, I can point it out. But if you say "prove that a plane can fly over your head by making it happen right now!" I will fail unless I get extremely lucky.

Interesting video, I’ve only looked ( and laughed) at the tarot card market of cold readings. Have had a few arguments with firm believers who simply don’t get that all those readings are deliberately kept vague, “ reading” common situations resonating with anyone, like heartbreak, bad luck etc. …and always the ‘ new positive energy “ “ you’ll receive messages “ and the all time favourite “ you are, or about to manifest into the empress” Some even have a bit of a life coach angle to it . My impression is, they’re mentally fragile people who need some crutch to make sense of their lives and strangely they’re also very religious usually, and mostly female .
No reader will ever say “ life is crap, will be for the foreseeable future, the ‘ divine” blocked you, , suck it up, kid” …she/ he would lose subscribers.
The celebrities that get air time and attention for going along with or people who don't realize how easy it is to access facts that "there is no way they could have known"--keep busting these criminals that play on people's vulnerability and emotional needs
