Guys, what's happening with us? I know that all of us have our own favorites in the group but why do some "harmonizers" bring down the other girls just to make one go higher? If one can call herself/himself a harmonizer, he/she should appreciate the talent of EVERY girl in 5th Harmony. Remember that they are a group and they're 5 girls not just 1,2, or 3.

Since they are the ones that criticize they say (THEM girls be like) but after camila calls ALL of them with "hey, that's what WE'd be like" (WE is not 5H, it's all the girls) and also with the bridge which she says " we like the girls that do too much... you know you hate the girls..." which means 'that's what we complain about but that's what we do'...

An underrated song
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this song a critique on what girls are progressively becoming? Dinah starts off talking about being indecisive because of a boy, changing herself, always worried about what he will see. Lauren comes in saying girls talk shit all the time - eg. CONSTANTLY BEING SELF OBSESSED to the point of posting 'filter-less' selfies and hash-tagging #IWOKEUPLIKETHIS as if it'll make them seem more 'flawless'. Normani's verse continues, using the idea that girls HAVE to compete against each other "Is she hating? Do it phase me?". Camila's chorus is what ties it altogether. "Them girls be like...", saying that all girls judge each-other, that all girls judge other girls for doing what Dinah, Camila and Lauren are doing in their parts. Then when she says "Hey, that's what we be like" - she's saying that actually, they do the same things. Girls judge each other for doing stupid shit that they too do themselves. I think this song is anything but crap. I actually think it's super dope, even without thinking that this is what it means.

It's showing how a lot of girls are increasingly being more judgemental, whilst being blind to the fact that their opinions on others are contradictory to their own actions. I feel like the verses are supposed to depict different situations girls might find themselves in, while the chorus (which is ultimately the message) is FH telling girls to wake up and realise how it all comes round full circle! Glad someone else has actually thought about the lyrics, rather than just bashing the song because they can't understand it :)
