@@smcmotorgroup No..I highly doubt there's a 9kW motor .They are just going by peak power . If seat had chance I bet they would zero 11kw rated ikes as 35kW
How longs the charging time and can you use it at a car charging port out in the ' wild' 40kg all good to roll in to ground floor than having to somehow stick a lead outdoors etc .
@@smcmotorgroup cool thanks , would be good If there was a converter plug to use at charging points in supermarkets. Il wait for something better before I switch . At the moment this mopeds functionality ....going local to do errands can be achieved under £1000 electric scooters that have a range around 30 mile + maybe the law will change to accept them as electric mobility vehicles in the near future as they have done in other parts of Europe.
if you hold down the set button whilst powering it on; it brings up a menu. I think in there you can unset the electronic speed limiter... Im curious if you have a go what the top speed really is?
@@smcmotorgroup Yes but how do I get it 120 miles round to nearest dealer trip if it breaks down or needs a service. No local places can work on these etc. Thats a bit of an issue but I expect it will improve as more people get them. Hopefully.
Being an electric bike, I’d imagine the servicing won’t be as frequent as a regular ICE bike, other than brakes or tyres? Question for SMC, can this bike be serviced by a Silence dealer or is this a SEAT only deal?
This is the same scooter as the silence S01.
Correct. Silence and SEAT have a partnership in the creation of MO.
Well spotted. Give that man a gold ⭐️
I thought it was a silence hahahah
I'll be there soon... just give me a Mo'.
I see what you did there ;)
I heard they do a 50 seat mo as well. Can you unlock the speed limiter on these like you can the 125. Also if you can what top speed will it be?
They do but not in the UK. I wouldn't reccomend it anyway as you would then say bye bye to your warranty.
Rebranded Silence s01..
And the rating is 7kW not 9kW
Yes it is a rebranded Silence S01. Silence do offer the S01 with a 7kw motor however the SEAT version uses a 9kw one.

Charging time from 0-100% is 4 to 6 hours and plugs in using a normal kettle lead to a 3 pin plug.

Watch this space. Some one at SEAT has the same thought process ;)

252 mph!
@@smcmotorgroup wow! She's got some serious top end then 🤣
No point with a small battery, keep to 50mph and 60 for short busts.

how heavy is it overall and can i get one? i am in los angeles.
Just under 350 pounds without a rider. I don't believe these are available to purchase in the US.
@@smcmotorgroup you have my thanks. I wonder why they are limited over here.. 🤔
What do these go for?

Shame no dealers central Dorset. Nowhere for miles to take it for service, repairs etc.
I'm sure we would be able to supply from Woking and deliver down to Dorset for you!

Be gd if they had this sort of power but a motorbike instead of a scooter. Same 125 but a bike not scooter. Be more appealing.
The idea is this is designed for urban mobility so a scooter is what the market demands
@smcmotorgroup fair enough. If they ever bring in a bike style instead of scooter I'll be interested. Thanks for reply.
