I have zero questions about Shai going into the future, he has been a secondary option on teams all the way back to his Kentucky days. I'm glad he improved his shooting form throughout the years unlike Lonzo who took him to get traded for him to change his form. SGA's shooting form before when he was teamed up with CP3 and Schroeder was like Kyle Anderson shooting form but a lil faster but now you have to respect his jump shot.

Just imagine if the Clippers passed on that Paul George trade. They have Shea, who would be the PG they have needed for years, and all of those draft picks that they shipped to OKC.

So they’d just be in the same situation as the Thunder now?

  • @YodaSmokes

Shai is the best 2 guard in the league. Don’t get it wrong. He could’ve been the point guard, but we have Giddey, and Shai perfectly runs the role of a 2 guard. Constantly in attack mode, and is also just a great passer. But make mistake, he is our 2 guard.

The Thunder's roster is pretty stacked and, except for their one glaring weakness, are well balanced. They're actually under-achieving right now. Yeah, they don't have a Center, but neither does most teams in the league right now.

On paper, they should be better than the Mavs or Clippers. Maybe they need a coaching change?

How is his game boring? He toys with opponents through crafty footwork, change of pace, and fakes, something that allowed MJ and Kobe to dominate in their 30s. Shai is only boring if you compare him to the flashiest players

lmao i said this and got absolutely railed in the comments. apparently 60 or so games of elite play on a 12th seed is enough to put you as a top 10 player who can be the best player on a championship contender.
