Her parents said, (if I’m not mistaken) she’s been wanting to do this for a while, XG’s label actually tried to hold off on her doing it, but they came to an agreement and she finally did it. Me personally, I love it and she’s faced backlash for her hair in pervious comebacks and performances so I’m glad she did it, haters were on her like crazy and now she’s been trending for so long 🩵 literally everyone loves it, I haven’t seen not one bad comment on her new style. Love her and you guys 🩵

What backlash did she receive regarding her hair? I’m a relatively new fan, and I see no reason why people would give her grievance about her hair
@@mylantapi-wn6hn when she DID have hair, her hair stylists were giving her locs and twists? idek. i’m black and have no problem with other ppl doing braids, locs etc. it doesn’t effect me AT ALL. it’s HAIR, but she’s been wanting to shave her head, but her label did hold it off for a while so i’m glad they’re signed to a label that appreciates them and allows them to be themselves. china has a new tattoo on her neck and jurin has a new septum earring 🩵🤙🏽

I haven’t seen those vids of her with braids yet; I’m still in the rabbit hole catching up on content (for a 2-year old group from a relatively little known agency, there’s quite a lot of vids to get through). And that’s cool about Chisa and Jurin. It’s refreshing to see that their agency is making some allowances. I can’t imagine another agency doing so for a rookie group, particularly letting a female idol shave her head. And I understand why the agency was reluctant to let Cocona shave her head earlier because the vibe wouldn’t match earlier concepts, but it is perfect for Woke Up.
