Hi, I'm from India. Usually never comment on UA-cam videos but I want to take this opportunity to tell you all that Strings were god in India.
We love and live the songs by Strings.
Every party, outings is incomplete without Strings.
Loved this interview.
I just hope if they reunite and play a concert. Looking forward for this one thing in life. Every 90s kid from India is crazy for Strings.
wowww...so glad to read such comments from India
@@htkhan83 oh yeah he is right, we love good music and strings were just uber good.
Yes we were crazy about strings songs
2003-2004 maybe. I was in class 4 and remember watching strings live in Nicco park kolkata. Strings, jal made up my childhood. Thank you Bilal Maqsood and Namaskar. India and my native city Kolkata still miss you and your band. Cassette ke dukan pe bestseller album tha humesha I still remember.
Strings is such an integral part of our pop culture, the cool and suave pop-stars in an era where being loud was it, instead of marketing a bad boy image they were the polished boys next door! He is so soft spoken, loved going down memory lane with him. I completely relate with the jingle era nostalgia with him, they hold so many memories and little special moments from days gone by…too precious
Not only Pakistan. Even we are grateful to strings for providing us such tracks for more than 30+ years.
He is legend now! Huge respect for him!
he sounds just like his father. bilal is very down to earth and a very soft spoken person.
Bilal is a sweetheart 💕 Thank you Rabia for taking his interview. Its always good to hear him. They are the icons of our industry
Thanks fuchsia, we are a big fan of Strings band. I love his way of speaking 👍🏻👍🏻
It was great to hear the thoughts of Bilal Maqsood. I hope he continues to serve music industry in some capacity even after Strings retirement.
Itni detail se Bilal maqsood ko pehli Baar bolte suna, plus Rabia is good host, no interruptions,no fazool sawal, And Bilal maqsood is so nice while talking. Behtreen interview over All
Thank you so much
I am 90's kid... And was crazzzy about strings song specially 'duur' ... I use to rush to the t.v lounge if i would've just heard the music of the song 'DUUR'.. and then my family not dare to switch the channel as they know my love for it... What a beautiful time this band gave us.. and is still contributing to our industry.... 👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
He is very humble & talented .Thanks Rabia nice interview with him
Haha! First time I saw Rabia struggling in an interview!! He is just so chilled out! Hope he creates more great art for our culture!💕
Shukriya
Yes its good to listen urdu💖
Really you are right..
jitna maza yeh interview sun k aya utna hi yeh comment parh k aya...i wish i could type in urdu as well
Am straight jumping to Duur after this interview. What nostalgia man! Cheers!
Bilal khush raheye salamat raheye ALLAH apko zindagi mein kamyab kere.
Love from India. Mai school time se inke gaane sunta aa raha hoon .. and i still do.. its still fresh. ❤️
Love you guys !
Oh yes now I see how come "Mera Bichra yaar" hitted me so hard when I was in Murree... It still takes me back to the time I spent listening to this wonderful song in the hills of Murree. Strings will remain close to our hearts as long as Pakistani pop music will be discussed among masses. Plus such a polite individual . The way he speaks Urdu is so calming . I would request if he could tell Urdu stories in his voice . It gives u ASMR effect .
For yrs i have admired this man as strings and the persona tha he carries, yet never had the chance to listen to any interview and today when i listened for the first time, he is every bit the icon that i thought him to be. So grounded, authentic and original. And the new single he has released totally carries his signature line of music n vocals that i and we all love him for. Impressed! Thank you!
Hi Bilal love you and Faisal both irrespective of your Nationality, your songs and music are heavenly. You and Faisal both come across as humble, polite and sweet people.STRINGS is eternal.Love from India.
Amazing personality... haye used to be my crush😂😂😂
Sir Kiye ye Pahar & Anjaane "two of my all time favs🥲💚
What an amazing well brought up person. Treat to watch.
Thanks for Inviting him Fuchsia
Bilal and faisal both are very decent, composed and well mannered souls which is absent from other people here. It shows he is a cool, thoughtful person. Really a treat to watch. Miss you string 😥. They are not ordinary people
Bilal is awesome, their songs are awesome. Thanks for this interview!
Zabardast bilal maqsood aap kmal hain
Rabia g you looked down today..but good to listen Bilal... He's so clear in his thoughts.
Such an honest and lovable person ❤️❤️❤️❤️
He is such a down to earth person, a legend. Strings is everlasting.
I was inspired by strings 1st album, and became a music producer in Uk. My journey started from visiting pakistan in the early 90’s, and ended up getting married at a young age. Vital signs where my first choice , and strings came after 6 months.
You guys definitely cemented my career.
Itna to the point with pinches of humor buht kum daikhny ko milta hai...
Buht maza aya!
I saw the unbeatable Anwar Maqsood SB , the greatest of all! In his son! Mashallah
Rabia buht himat hai apki jo ye interview kia! 👌💪
😄
@@FUCHSIAMagazine ♥️🇵🇰👌👍
Love this interview, and so well conducted! Also I completely agree and get your question, the massiveness of bringing together Rahet Fateh Ali Khan and Amjad Sabri and the likes was not marketed well enough. Bilal Maqsood is a graceful man and always a delight watching him speak. And love those glasses he is wearing! His story of his father being worried coming to check on him at 1 AM at night when he could not get home in time, and Bilal picking up his keyboard from the neighborhood event and leaving with his dad- story of every parent and obedient Pakistani kid ever
Thank you Marium. Appreciate you liking the interview
I totally agree with the fan variation like me and my daughter both are fans
And here I'm 29 years listened sar kiy pahar for the first time after watching this interview 😛😂
Thanks to my aapa humny bht songs sunein hain strings k...btw im 25
I am a huge fan of STRINGS. Love & Respect for India ❣
We love strings and still listen that songs zaberdast interview
heard junoon play already about 2 yrs ago💚, strings on my wishlist💚🇵🇰
such a beautiful advice he has given 33:15...seriously like 'kuch bhi na kaha sab keh bhi gaye"
His voice is so soothing. Speaking so politely
Strings fan forevaaaa....❣❣❣
He is our great music icon.
Superb interview. Strings is definitely one of Pakistan's biggest bands and one of my all time favourites. Rabia is a superb host. I really enjoy her way of interviewing. She lets the guest talk.. and gently guides them towards important topics. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for appreciating
Excellent interview.
Bilal is superb and surely a visionary person.
Not just Pakistan, I love Strings so much and am from Assam, India
Strings is colplay of Asia.
Great interview, we don't see any such calm and decent interviews any more. Well done!
The host don’t even know coke studio season 8,9,10 was the biggest hit and Coke studio was actually came into light after that seasons. People was actually expecting a lot more after those seasons but after those seasons coke studio didn’t get the fame it need.
Rang is mind blowing song , when i listen this song i start crying , i couldn't explain my feelings. It's megical song. Rahat fateh Ali khan sahab & Amjad sabri sahab's ki awaz ka jasdu. Subhan ALLAH
Thanks for this. The interview questions and etiquette shown in asking them was excellent, and very refreshing!!
Thanks sooo much
بہت اچھا انٹرویو تھا۔مجھے اس لیے پسند آیا سکون اور آرام سے بات کرتے ہیں۔(ابا نے کبھی ڈانٹا نہیں)
Rabia you were absolutely unprepared for this interview with a larger than life personality. Bilal and Faisal are legends..how can you say that they were not as big in India or their Coke Studio didn't get as much recognition? People worship Strings and their music.. absolutely disappointed with your interviewing today.
The host was totally unprepared and having no experience of conducting of kind of conversation where one of the legend of pop music narrating his struggle and sharing experience. The day the band broke I had tears.
Great interview
We loved Strings at one time. Regards from India
Love From Nepal
Sar kiye yeh pahar
Dariyaon ki gehraaiyon mey
Tujhe dhundha hai❤️❤️
Bilal n faisal bhai u are luv❤️
The positioning of the candle and coffee cup though!
First album with strings written with lipstick on cover is still my favorite album of all time.
I wonder what happened to Rafiq wazir and karim bhai as original 4 members of the band
I think both have left Pakistan and styled in usa
Thank you so much Fuchsia and Rabia for this interview!
Being a Strings fan and specially Bilal's fan I didn't know many things which I got to know through this interview.
You guys are awesome!
You are welcome. Happy to read your comment

Bilal and faisal i love u both and lots of respect, i did not know bilal is son of sir Anwar maqsood sahab ,bilal your decency ad creativity i think u took from your father.
I didnt miss a second of this episode because I am a big fan of BILAL MAQSOOD.... since my childhood
LOVED WATCHINGGGGGGG
THANKS RABIA
So glad
What a refreshing conversation, thanks Fuchsia, brilliantly done.
Beautiful view of acter
Bilal is simply ❤️
SIR APKA HY GANA SUN RAHA HUN😁
Nothing compares to Strings!
Sar kiye ye pahar was a teen anthem of our times. Can't fathom why they cut Strings' musical chord, which sustsined us for so long. It's time for them to open an online Music Academy to acculturize youth to good music and promote their talent now.
*Priceless*
Throughout the video there was talk of strings band but the biggest thing was that nothing was mentioned about why string band was abolished.
It should have been mentioned here
I'm a big fan of string bands
But it is not yet clear why the strings band was unband.
Great interview. You tried to make it inspirational Fuchsia.
Rabia…good interview.❤️
Ufff my favourite band strings. Love them a lot 💕
Shyd koe agree kry 2000 k aakhir Ka talent beyond the limits h unki koe takkar hi nh Nd Bilal is such a decent intellectual ....
Forever young Bilal
We love you strings😊❤🙏
He is magician
why didn't you ask regarding the decision to not continue with strings anymore? was there a rift between him and Faisal ...how did it impact them emotionally etc and what are their future plans...
Nice interview. Duur album was amazinggg
Good show👍
The Amazing Interview....
Amazing Interview
Thank you fuchsia, you guys evolved really really good. Last I tuned for you guys when Mooroo bhai was here. 🌻
Strings production in Coke studio was the most successful time of Coke studio!!!!....strange you didn't know??🤔
Yeah...songs are love produce by strings
With today's interview Rabia seems nervous or not having proper details about him ...& the background of qs ?
اللّٰہ تعالیٰ پاکستان کو دنیا میں بلند ترین مقام عطا فرمائے آمین آمین ثمہ آمین 🤗🤲🇵🇰
Dil ❤️ Dil ❤️ Dil ❤️ Pakistan Zandbad 🇵🇰 Allah bless you ❤️❤️❤️🇵🇰
Our pakisrani coke studios songs are amazing. Strings is doing excellent job.😊
Strings left coke studio, now Rohail Hayat is the main lead
Please aahad niyani drummer ka b interview lyn.
@39:32 he is absolutely right
"No friends" very obvious from his personality. Here he seems a bit on the ground. On Pepsi Battle of the Bands, he thought too much of himself. Faisal Kapadia, on the other hand, always was and is very genial. Faisal is a genuine down to earth lovely personality.
lets get berklee university campus here in the land of sufis ...
( bilal / strings + rabia / fuchsia + ajv )
Pata nahien if host is excited or what. She does not usually interrupt par is episode mai buhut interrupt kiya hai ...
Strings 💚👌🏻
Excellent interview. He speaks so politely and the words he chooses are beautiful blend. Your questions and style is cream on the cake. But you must change the venue cuz of honking horns :)
Nice keep it up
Such a talented and decent musician...never tried for acting like other these days as nepo kids...yes i mean azaan sami khan
BILAL IS LIVING LEDGENT
Maza aya, Hope to see Faisal Kapadia also
Rabia Aaj homework acha nahi tha mujhey bhi bahut si knowledge thi jo aapko nahi thi Indian loves pak music Ali sethi is very popular there
I agree
@45:27 it happens everyehere...ghar k kitchen se le kar bahar ki har industry mein :-(
Thumbs Up....
I watched the whole interview just to listen why the most popular and amazingly talented band ended this abruptly... but sadly rabia didn't ask this important question.
Thanks batane ke liye......main bhi pura isi liye dekhna chahta tha.
