It's a great ass game but the takedown is pretty frustrating to watch. They could've given him takedown animations that are less professional than Lincoln's but at the same satisfying level. And to be hoenst, most of the takedowns that Lincoln does in Mafia 3 don't seem like a professional soldier's moves as much as they're like what a gangster would do, they could've done similar with Tommy too
It makes sense Lincoln Clay is a Vietnam war Veteran so giving Tommy his combat style would not work because that's style is Lincoln Clay Exclusive only.
I kinda like how between both games you can tell both tommy and Lincoln have different ways of fighting like techniques and such. Tommy is just a regular man, no special training, no background of violence before joining with saleiri(at least none I know about) just a cabbie who joined a family and picked up some skill along the way Lincoln however is a former special forces soldier who fought in Nam, so he knows his way around an opponent. Plus Lincoln is obviously way more muscular than tommy so he is definitely gonna be hitting harder than tommy can
I Cazzi di Buddha have you seen Lincoln he is literally built like a 200 pound a super heavy weight MMA fighter. It’s unrealistic to me that enemies don’t just fall out pass out from one punch from him. Tommy is just a normal dude.
Tommy wasn't a 230 pound Vietnam Vet with a big ass knife he was just an average Joe cab driver with either a pocket knife or a bat. I do feel like the Mafia remake should've been better though.

As they said that game engine they are provided to work with is sh!t . And people out there are like " GTA is best, So much to do blah blah " it is a good game indeed but at least give props to Dev's for trying their best and keeping Mafia series alive. They deserve better than this

Yeah they could but there would be no incentive for them to fix it. The window of opportunity has already passed, the game was released in 2016 and then rereleased in 2020 and they didn't fix anything, same with Mafia 2 Definitive edition, they didn't fix any glitches in the 11 years it's been out.
The music effects in Mafia 3 are so annoying. I hate it when they make games/movies overly action-y with uneeded effects. Just let the choreography do the work.

Okay hear me out I think that mafia 3 open world is way more fun to explore both games stories are amazing while mafia 3 does fall back graphically compared to mafia 1 remake ... I think that both games are fun in there own ways .
Yeah I actually enjoyed taking down all the different types of rackets in Mafia 3. There were a lot of crazy rackets like the underground drug and sex partys, the body disposal labs, the drug factories, the slave trading in the super market, it was fun wiping those places out. I think the racket idea was inspired by the Godfather games but a lot of people complained that it made the game feel non linear. There should have been a separate mode where you could skip them if you wanted.

Yeah it just lacked certain details and probably would have been more well liked if it was just a linear story like Mafia 2. If they would have just focused on the main story missions then they might have had more time to polish the game but I think they really wanted those side missions because it worked for the godfather game.

Mafia remake feels like a real mafia game while mafia 3 only feels like a generic crime simulator. The only reason mafia 3 was a "mafia" game is because of vito. Both games are good but the mafia remake is just way better in terms of story and characters.
