I remember having the Muscle Tower arc tapes when I was around 5 along with a good chunk of the rest of the series. Would always rewind the part where Goku storms the tower just to hear this theme and watch the running animation after Goku went to town on the grunts with the Power Pole. Even though I love Z and Super, I always prefer the more grounded nature of the original compared to the formers along with its animation and overall feel.

I remember on Halloween in 2011 I was dressed up as kid goku with the extended pole and my mom made the flying nimbus from scratch and put it on my skateboard and when I played this song riding around the neighborhood every person who grew up on dragon ball and dragon ball Z through the 80s-90s was happy and gave respect for going all out on that Halloween. I wish I can go back to being 11 again.🥲💯

This tune is so adventurous and magical! It's a pity that as the series goes on it starts to fade away because the more serious tone takes over (DBZ is still good of course, just different).
