Always my favorite part of visiting Cebu. The Badjao are awesome people. They are usually on Fuente circle begging. I made some awesome friends with them. I have several that know me. I ALWAYS give them something. My reward for kindness? Friends, they even took me back to their area, took me fishing. Kind people and just a lot of fun

They are the most special tribe. They in Indonesia are also thought to be from the Philippines. Even though they are a nomadic tribe for thousands of years they have sailed the seas of Indonesia Malaysian Filipinos. Their home is in the ocean. That's why they are nicknamed the Sea Tribe.

I always enjoy watching the Badjao kids swim for coins at the port of Tagbilaran. Amazing how they can dive deep and come up with the coin before it disappears.

How is it they cannot afford food but the kids have smartphones. Trash is literally everywhere too. Sad. These people are beautiful.
Family is from the Philippines- the entire family shares one smartphone. Normally only families that have someone who is educated and sending money back to help from a better position
