These conversations are so important and I’m so honored to have been able to be there with you guys to have it!! Los quiero mucho and Im refreshed at meeting such genuine and kind people 🥺❤️ can’t wait till the next one ❤️
This is hands down the best podcast I have listened to. It has really helped me better understand things about myself and relationships around me, you guys are the best. Thank you for this collaboration!!!!!!
I’m glad you guys interviewed Stacey! This is an eye opening for our raza and poc. As someone raised in a traditional Mexican household where therapy wasn’t talked about and mental illness was not acknowledged it is hard but not impossible for our raza to understand that mental illness is a real thing. We also have to understand that it goes back to generations where many of them did not know they had mental illness because it was not talked about. I am almost 2 years in therapy now because of a mental breakdown I had for issues that weren’t mine. I do emdr and I can say for myself that is the hardest of therapy sessions. We need to normalize therapy for our raza and have mental illness be talked about in our homes. We need more of our raza as therapists to help bring comfort and understanding to those older generations that have issues understanding what it is to have a mental illness and wanting to go to therapy . We need to normalize it and educated those who do not understand how much it can affect people.
Idk how to explain it but I love how mature, soothing this podcast episode is. Some how it made me happy hearing it. Having mature guest on your show are becoming my favorite ❤️
This has to be one of my favorite podcast episodes! Stacey really made it feel so welcoming and easy flowing. It felt like a therapy session just listing to it and I feel like I took a lot from this episode. All positive vibes. Love you guys
This is the podcast that many of us needed to hear! Definitely, helped understand why certain toxic traits and behaviors are displayed in relationships… makes me realize how much baggage we carry and childhood trauma. Thank you Blanca and Jonathan for bringing great speakers to this podcast ❤️
I almost teared up a bit when Stacy talked about how one day she was just crying on the floor. Man that type of heartbreak hurts the worst and still hurts when u look back years later.
I thought last podcast was a good one, boyyyyy this one hit heavy. Thank you so much for bringing awareness to therapy and the psychology field as a whole. I really appreciate how much effort you two make with the content ya bring the audience. This was amazing. Keep being amazing. Love ya always
This podcast was EVERYTHING! I luv Stacy and wouldn’t have thought of anyone better to talk about these topics than her. So glad y’all are able to talk about these topics-situations to help/encourage others. Love you guys! 💗
This podcast did me so good. I was so relaxed the entire time. I loved every second of it. Definitely need a second episode! I love Stacey so much. Been watching her forever so when I found out you guys were going to have her on I couldn’t wait for you guys to put this video out. Love you all. ❤️
Thank you for this whole conversation, I know it’s 9months old but I’ve been binge watching alll of y’all’s podcasts and I love them so much! I sometimes listen to them twice or three times!😂❤️ but this conversation really helped! I would love to hear more like these!
I just enjoyed this episode sooo much!!! My favorite one yet!! The way she talks and explains things is just so therapeutic!!!! We need another episode with her! The 1 hr video seemed like 20 minutes, flew by!!
I thought the podcast would go a different route! But it was better than I expected! I loved listening to this and I love that you had Stacey. she is so knowledgeable and brings out good advice and points! 💕
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Definitely felt like this episode was for me. Thank you for normalizing therapy because it is definitely something that everyone should do.
I just had the chance to watch this. This is a great reminder on what I want in a partner and to check myself to know it’s okay if you need therapy. This is amazing. I LOVE that you guys are so raw and real and are okay with sharing you guys both have gone to therapy and are okay with speaking about it. Especially Jonathan as a man speaking forward stating he has gone to therapy. This is why I will always support you guys 100%. I LOVE that you guys don’t sugar coat things. This is amazing. You guys are amazing. Thank you for bringing so much awareness & knowledge to your youtube supporters. This is awesome for the younger ones to be engaged in videos as these!! You guys just make me so proud. 🤩❤️
I started watching Blanca in the midst of my abusive relationship. Getting out of it and dealing with death at the same time got me looking into therapy. Stacey’s video about her experience was one of the first ones I watched. It’s so exciting to see her on here, and so comforting to hear both of your experiences 🖤
I am with Blanca that this has been a little therapy session. I have never been open about therapy, but after listening/watching this podcast I have definitely become more open about therapy. I just seemed to have gotten out of a toxic relationship not that long ago and honestly, I feel that as much as I loved that person, I didn't feel any form of sadness after leaving the relationship because of just how toxic it was, that love really wasn't there anymore. I ended in good terms with the individual and am now just working on myself. Since I am a freshman in college, I am currently going through a breakdown because I keep overthinking about whether I made a good decision to attend college, am I starting my life right, am I setting a good example to my siblings, am I making my parents proud, etc. and I have come to a point where I want to seek therapy/counseling because like you mentioned in the podcast, I want an unbiased opinion from someone other than my family members and friends. Gracias a dios, I have a good support system from my family and friends who are always motivating me to do better and take risks, but at the same time I feel drowned with sadness and confusion because I am 18, went straight to college after graduation, so it has been a rollercoaster of emotions that I have kept in. I think I have come to a point now in life that I want to seek therapy/counseling to be able to let go of these overwhelming feelings I have kept in for such a long time. I want to be able to just feel mentally healthy and thrive for a healthier life. I do want to see if you guys could talk about mental health in college students in a future podcast. Much love to all of you
Hey Blanca one thing that stuck to me that you said is that you want to start going to therapy again for baby. You should start sooner than later just to prevent or even help in case of PPD. There is always mom groups that are amazing after having the baby.
I appreciate it this podcast so much...right now. I'm at a point in my life and where I don't know the direction it should go..I do have a good support system my younger siblings and mother are amazing but I Don't want to burden them with my issues and I want them to understand where I'm coming from and not them just thinking I'm making off the cuff decisions. This video literally could not have come at a better time. These couple of weeks have been tough. I need to give my life a drastic change both personally and in my work.🙏🙏🙏🙏 Thank you.
Loved this! I honestly have never thought about going to therapy BUT now, I really need to check it out. So many truths and eye opening point of views. Me encanto! Muchas gracias por compartir esto con nosotros. ❤️
This podcast was amazing!!!! I’ve recently opened up about going to therapy so I related to this 100%! The way y’all worded it made it so much easier to relate to also. So happy you guys did this especially for the Hispanic community 💗💗💗💗
I LOVE THIS! This is so full circle for me as I'm sure it is for a lot of us. Thank you for being an advocate for therapy! Funny enough, Stacey and you both have been such an inspiration/motivation to start therapy. I start on the 7th, con el favor de Dios 🤍
I loved this podcast ! Didn't know i needed this much to contact my therapist again !!! 🙏🙏 Love her and you guys it was so relaxing just listening to everything y'all had to say💗
This podcast…was a real eye opener. I think most of us in the comment section can relate because most of us come from a similar hispanic household where mental health wasn’t talked about. But I just want to say thank you. And just a little reminder, we aren’t alone. We are valid. Nos tenemos que cuidar a nosotros primero. Love the podcast 🧡
I feel like I need a part 2 3 and 4 love you guys best one yet I already saw it 2 times about to see it 3 I feel every time a see it I learn something different
👍Great conversations! AWESOME tips! If you speak biblically: It’s GOD FIRST…husband and wife are ONE COVENANT. A marriage must be aligned…one mind and one accord. I have learned If the marriage is aligned it helps the child rearing in an orderly manner. If a marriage starts unequally yoked then that becomes a problem in many ways. ❤️Bless you guys!
