MICROSOFT FLIGHT SIMULATOR | Aerodynamic CFD VISUALIZATION

- Hi Friends ! SIM update 11 is around the corner and we're gonna get quite the update. In preparation for gliders in helicopters the good folks at Asobo have turned on computational fluid dynamics so you can see the air flow visualization.
I personally think that it's not necessarily useful if you are trying to simulate reality but, it is an extremely good learning tool. Imagine if you don't know how airplanes work and you turn this on and you start to really see air flow and understand what's actually happening. It's like getting a view behind a curtain that nobody could look behind :)
PS if you're still reading this far and I hope you are, I have a special request in favor to ask all of you. If you watch my videos please take time to read through the comments. Many times I get questions that I try to answer, most of them I'm successful in some of them I'm not. I want you guys to read each other's questions and see if you can help each other out. Let's build a great community where we help and we enjoy with one another. Friendship and kindness above all !!

I think it would be good not only for glider pilots ...but for those who are into aircraft-design or just learning. This shows us exactly how air interacts with the control surfaces of the aircraft & is especially useful for instructor's to graphically depict what happens in a stall or other situations like crosswind landings ...MSFS never ceases to impress.
Hi Cris.... very useful to fly the gliders as you mentioned ..... nice catch!
