Jordan and Lebanon are the top 2 Arabic basketball teams in Asia. It’s so unfair that Australia HAS to compete in Asia both soccer and basketball. I just saw a documentary about Lebanon and its economic crisis. I believe this will somehow be a proud moment for Lebanon
This team is playing purely with big heart and talent without any funding.
On top of it, the mood in Lebanon was mostly depressive after all the hardship during the last 3 years.
So yea it's definitely an uplifting moment showing the fighting spirit of the Lebanese and the fight to enjoy life again.
Whatever happens tomorrow we are proud.
A team with zero funding coming from a super small corner of the world reaching the final is an achievement.
Even if we lose tomorrow we are happy

@@VS-np3yq as a fellow Lebanese the player wages have dropped and some players (arakji) for example even moved out of Lebanon and the FA were barely able to pay operation costs and most costs of the national team (travelling and such) are mostly paid by individuals also bonuses are almost non existent
@@willbutland9097 they deserve to be in the finals.. this shows how strong willed these players are.. i hope all upcoming and young lebanese basketball talents would notice and recognise the senior men's team's sacrifices.. and be taken as an example of patriotism in sports..
