They ask because they want to make sure that you are genuine muslim because i've seen lots of non muslim foreigners who give salam to the muslims. As far as i know, we non-muslim Malaysians don't give salam to other muslims except normal greetings.
Assalaamu’alaikum, your videos really helped to locate the markets & street food. Would have loved to bump into you as we are currently in KL. We are heading to Johor tomorrow but will keep an eye on your updates for my next visit

You can take the luxury coaches or express buses or flight. Salam and stay well.

Well Solo.. nowadays there are many non-muslims who greet us with Assalamualaikum... we can't tell the difference for sure.. and when we meet a muslim foreigner we can only be so happy to meet our new brother/sister. Hence the direct question, "Are you a muslim?". Pardon us.. don't get annoyed please.

they poured liquid nitrogen into it. a few years back the were burnt cases where the liquid nitrogen trapped in the food didn't evaporate.
Oh wow, I hope the people are okay now
I'm pretty sure that's dry ice i.e a solid form of Carbon Dioxide. No harm there.
