Mia_equestrian ? What that makes no sense. As a 11 year old equestrian who has been riding for 4 years that really confuses me. As you are a ‘equestrian’ you should be able to work with your horses and train them to not be afraid. I once was 7 and my horse spooked and I fell off and broke my arm and got a concussion and from that day I trained my horse not to be spooked so easily. Recently, it has been really annoying my how my 15.1h mare is TERRIFIED of walking through doors/door frames/small gates/onto floats/over bridges and once I get knocked onto the floor and got a concussion and another time I twisted my ankle because 1st time she walked over a bridge after me but jumped over it as I was turned back to her and hit me on the head with her hooves and knocked me onto the floor and second time I was riding her through a small gateway and she cantered through it and I twisted my ankle back on the gate post and she cantered through. So I trained her to not be afraid of small spaces. Can’t you train your horses? There can be MANY ways that I can think of on could train your horses not to be afraid.

When Esme said ‘your looking good!’ It honestly sounded like the donkeys (I think it was the donkeys) were saying ‘meh..’ I thought Max looked great though!
I love how Max is so confused and took his time, and missed all the poo, and grabbed tiny handfuls of hay. I believe in Max, Me being an equestrian it made me kind of mad he knew no horse parts, and did not even know what a curry comb was! This made me cringeeeee... Why did UA-cam give me a notification 7 minutes after! Oh well I'm so exited I've been waiting for this for so long!!!!Max did amazing,I can't believe that people think that beginners are going to get on a horse and be like "Oh they are gonna be like a 5 star rider!" like it doesn't work like that. Edit: Omg I love this! Max: *points* There's a guy filming us. Me: A guy???? A guy???? *Laughs*
I'm impressed at his ability to post (regardless of diagonal) considering that he was, for all practical purposes, a raw beginner. It took me almost 2 weeks of 5 days/week lessons to just get the rhythm down to the point where I could consistently post actually on the beats (though it probably didn't help that the stirrups on the saddle I used the first week wouldn't go short enough for me, but still - to start really getting the rhythm the very first day, that's impressive). It looked like you both genuinely enjoyed it - even though he seemed reluctant at first about it, in the end he seemed to think it was worth it.
I loved the message at the end because the people that were teaching me where shouting at me to do things when they didn’t teach me even how to do the things. So thank you for putting that at the end! 🥹😌

It looks like Max had a lot of fun, and for his first time he did really well! (puts my early riding to shame 🤣) Also I love how Max acknowledges the fact that riding can be difficult and that you don’t just “sit there” My dad can be quite annoying when he says that all I do is sit there, and how riding can’t be a sport. I told him I could give him a lesson on a horse I was shareboarding named Flash, and he told me that he could but he wouldn’t want to just walk around in circles all day. Part of me wants him to canter around and realize that it’s harder than it looks, but the other part of me doesn’t want him to get mad at me if he falls off 😅 Sorry for the ramble; anyway great video as always!! 💕✨

Anyone can sit on a horse, but it takes effort to ride.
@@ragnkja Well said 👏
"You've come here because you want to do a video with me."
"... how do you know that?"
"Because there's a guy filming us."
Somebody give this man a medal.
Esme is just like every SSO npc. Its like, no no no, I’ve got a perfectly responsible reason to sit down and chill while you do my chores for me.
