Put a couple ounces of battery acid in the bottle. Soak a rag in a concentrated solution of potassium permanganate, let it dry, the wrap it around the bottle. It will ignite when the bottle breaks, no need to light it.

The smoke from styrofoam is highly toxic. Dissolving it makes no difference to that. However if you let it dry, put it in a container then it reduces the space taken in landfill. But you need to use a sealed landfill as any leachate into streams etc would be highly toxic.
