      Put a couple ounces of battery acid in the bottle. Soak a rag in a concentrated solution of potassium permanganate, let it dry, the wrap it around the bottle. It will ignite when the bottle breaks, no need to light it.

    Sawing styrofoam in the open on a windy day.....good way of introducing loads of plastic into the surrounding environment. Add to that the air pollution. Good going mate. 😢

      This was my thought too. There are way better ways to break up styrofoam. Snapping it inside a clear plastic bag would have been better

      Yeah, they gotta upgrade their content. Get a gas mask and replace the filter with a container of your favorite inhalant. Apply the mask and ensure a proper seal. Then just take long, deep breaths until you stop breathing.

      It's how you make improvised napalm. The name "napalm" tells you what's in the real deal. Napthenic and palmitic acids mixed with gasoline.

    Would have been nice if more effort was taken to reduce the styrene "dust" going into the environment during the cutting and breaking up phase. Using a saw to cut it is about the worste thing you can do. We really need to stop putting this stuff into the environment.

    Saw one yesterday where they used soap instead of styrofoam. Used a cheese grater on the soap, mix with gas… neat but who wants to take all that with you when camping. Matches work. A lighter. Throw the gas on the logs and light it.
