1993...my favorite version of MJ. The guy was hitting shots from everywhere plus he still had his athleticism and he was still winning it all.
All while playing great defense.
4-6 😂 hell nah
@@ethannewberry1053be trying to tell ppl
I just can’t believe MJ is 60! Crazy I remember as a kid watching him play
Time flies. You'll be 60 literally before you know it yourself.
I'm 59 I watched his hole career never seen nobody close to him nobody mj forever the 🐐👍
This was all in ONE Season. He has seasonS where you could argue he was ‘better’. That’s truly mind boggling. The best that ever was. And possibly may ever will be.
I like the break down of every aspect of MJ’s game. The TOTAL greatness of Michael Jordan.
I'm 44 years old and I've never seen anyone like him. I've been watching basketball since I was a kid and I've seen a lot of the greats but nobody is like MJ. These comparisons are ridiculous because there is no comparison. MJ is the greatest player I ever saw and that's 1983-2023
There’s a guy named King James that would dominate this scrub
@D2 lost your mind . 13 full seasons played Jordan 32k points and 6 chips. LeBron first 13 seasons 26k points. Jordan outscored Lebron by a while 6,000 points in the same # of seasons played. Jordan also won 3 more chips and a defensive player of the year during that time. You are crazy . I'm 12 yrs younger than Jordan and 10 yrs older than LeBron. I have watched their full careers. This ain't even close. Jordan is the GOAT 🐐. Nothing at all you can say. NOTHING that is factual!
Facts, most Lebron fans are one sided and haven’t even really watched/know about Jordan
@@norwoodhammond650 Jordan didn't really play 13 FULL SEASONS. He only played 17 games his second year and he played 18 games in 1995. So it would be 11 FULL SEASONS plus 35 games total. And yes Jordan is the goat. Without a doubt. I watched both of their careers in their entirety so I can give an unbiased opinion. I also watched LeBron play when he was in highschool and I went to almost every home game when he played in Cleveland. I was fortunate enough to say that I watched LeBron's whole career because I lived in Akron and worked in Cleveland. I have some biasness towards LeBron but I am a basketball fan and I can't lie. There is no comparison. MJ is the goat. I had to rewrite this because it would be 13 FULL SEASONS when you count the wizards. 11 with the bulls. His prime years. He was unstoppable
@@derek5499 Honest question. How do you think Lebron would do in MJ's era guarded by undersized 2 guards (Dumars, Starks, D. Johnson...6'3"/6'4"), no collapsing zone, no illegal defense, shorter 3pt line for 3 years...etc? Think Lebron, Pippin & co could make a great run, especially after the demise of the Celtics/Lakers?
I think its pretty much impossible to fairly compare players across era's, then determine one is the greatest of all time. MJ collected all his stats and accomplishments in his era under his conditions. Doesnt make him the goat, imo opinion. The great players didnt all run the same "obstacle course".
The Jordan documentary said it best no one was better at their job then Michael Jeffrey Jordan Jordan is the goat
Jordan makes even the toughest things look easy. When you review Jordan clips, nothing about him looks sloppy. The way he plays, move, dress and talk - - He is poetry in motion! That alone makes Jordan stand out amongst the rest!!! 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐 🐐
Mj' skills were insane..

MJ was so graceful- literally had ZERO weaknesses in his game. Happy Birthday to the GREATEST of all time 🐐
OMG! I watched and thought it was a career highlight reel until I glanced at the title and noticed it's all from one season?! GOAT!!🐐😤💯
😂
Jordan at 29 was Jordan with zero holes in his game. Zero weaknesses. Feb 92 to Feb 93 was probably his best single year as a complete player. 32-33 points a game, mvp, finals mvp, Olympic gold, and then all this in the next season. His birthday is like 2/3rds of the way through the season. Just a couple months before the playoffs start. So he was 29 most of this season. Like I said MJ at 29 was MJ at his best. Really 27-29. 90-92/93.
It’s crazy he was a great offensive player he can give You 30 every night & lock u up as well people got too understand how difficult that is too do every night he one of a kind & Imma KD Fan‼️
It is pure beauty when MJ dunks
That steals segment is absolutely insane. And to get thing worse then there's Pippen... For some reason 93 season is the most memorable for me, kind of a basketball pinnacle. This video is GOLD.
Just to add to everyone’s comments, I’ve been watching college and pro basketball since the 1970s, and was blessed to see the Harlem Globetrotters at MSG in NYC in ‘74, and I can confidently say without hesitation that Michael Jordan possessed ALL of the skills, athletic abilities, fundamentals, basketball I.Q., offensive and defensive instincts, mental and physical toughness, passion for the game, winner’s mentality, sharp focus on details, and competitive drive to be the best he can be….. more than any other player I’ve seen. He’s still the only NBA player that had ever had a “ love for the game” clause in his contract, which meant he was able/allowed to play basketball anytime he wanted to without penalty or fine from the NBA or organization…MJ is a one of a kind athlete that surpassed all expectations of a basketball player.
EXACTLY 💯 PERCENT
Indeed. And it's not something you even need to look up. Sure, you can go to the all-time leaders in points per contents and see he still sits above Wilt, and understand why folks say he's the best. But you really just need to watch one game to see him control the action with such aggression that the other players all seem like they just don't want to win as much--and then after a while you realize that it's because they don't. Folks will say stuff all the time like MJ was so good because had no competition, and I always say 'other way round. MJ had no competition because he was so good.'
When you watch a whole game of MJ, even a regular shot looks like a highlights.
As Ray allen said, MJ had no weakness. He had everything and this highlights shows that he can score in various styles, different locations, and effective. Also that made him true all around player because he also put the same energy in defense. HBD MJ. I am glad that i am old enough to see you win since 91-98.
Yeah and he was hitting the 3-ball which used to be one of his weaknesses in the 80's. Absolute prime MJ (ages 27/28-30) had no weaknesses.
U know what's amazing is the great MJ was coming off back to back 🏆's runs & played for the dream team🏅& didn't look to b slowing down or winded, AWESOME........6RINGZ!!!!
The ability to be able to elevate as high as he needs to on his jumpshot or fade away as much as he needs to get the shot off and still be accurate was crazy
6:34.... that is unmatched ability and athleticism for a 6'6 guard. One leg; leg hand; straight vertical off one leg and still gets insane height and power quick.
That is absolutely insane.

I was so lucky as kid to be able to watch this guy. Look up the definition of basketball player, should be a reference to this guy.
If I needed to learn the game, or any type of moves, he was the guy to watch. I learned how to take my first step by watching this guy, he had the best first step probably ever.
Jordan was like having the entire basketball encyclopedia of fundamentals in your face. You just take notes, like hey look what he's doing there Bobby...you will never see this again.

92-93 was the only season i felt Jordan and the Bulls as a whole slightly coasted, fatigued from trying to get 70 wins in 91-92 and coming up short, so they coasted for the playoff push in year 3 of a threepeat season. Makes sense. In 98, they didn't have that opportunity with Pip out most of the season, MJ had to carry them with Rodman doing extra dirty work and they were all running on fumes by the playoffs with a scare against Indi and a scare in the Finals with Pip basically a decoy, of course the GOAT had just enough left in the tank to finish it off.
True...they underachieved in 1993 and that's why they didn't even win 60 games.
@@jtremaine23Pippen and Jordan played on the dream team. They were exhausted by the time the 92-93 season started.

Out of those 6 finals he never beat an all time great team. He beat plumbers and expansion teams.
@@D2OFFICIALUA-cam yeah and LeBron James lost in the finals six times right and Michael Jordan won every finals he been in unlike the fake King
@@vincecater8325 What's interesting is LeBron lost in the Finals even if he was favored. He also lost in the 2004 Olympics and 2006 World Championships with future HOF players AND coaches. When people bring plumbers in MJ's era, someone can always say...JJ Barea & Jason Terry.
When they bring up expansion teams, all of the same teams are still here now and with players teaming up more and more, the talent is not really spread across at all.
When they say he never beat an all time great team, MJ beat Dream Team I and II members...but their teams don't get any credit because they never won against him. Had MJ lost, I assume they would have been all time great then lol (the Utah Jazz, for example). Also, MJ's Bulls were better than the 2016 Cavs so why couldn't the Bulls beat the 2016 Warriors or even the Spurs?!?

Yes he’s the greatest shoe salesman of all time but he’s the second best player of all time.
@@D2OFFICIALUA-cam If you think MJ is the 2nd greatest, I assume you had him #1 at some point before you put LeBron there. What changed?
@@jtremaine23 I just look at the teams lebron beat in the finals vs who MJ beat in the finals it’s not even close. Tim Duncan and Steph Curry are better than any player MJ beat in the finals. He beat Magic Johnson the year he announced he had 💉. MJ never beat an all time great team. During the 80’s when there were all time great teams he didn’t win anything. On top of that I just believe that the average player today is more skilled than the average player in MJ’s era. The icing on the cake is him being the all time leading scorer. King James reigns supreme. We can agree to disagree.
@@D2OFFICIALUA-cam Ok, so you said Duncan & Steph are better than anybody MJ beat but then try to quickly diminish Magic who is still better than both of them & the greatest PG ever. You do know that Magic had just won back-to-back MVPs and was runner up the year MJ won in 1991, right? FYI...MJ beat Dream Team I and II members.
As far as teams, are you counting the teams they played to get the Finals? Also, are you counting LeBron losing to the 2009 Magic with only 1 star that had no true offensive abilities outside of dunking? And the Cavs had won 66 games that year.
The average player today can be more skilled but are they smarter?!? That's real important. Also, players will look more skilled when there isn't as much defense being played like before.
It does feel like people were just sitting there biting their nails waiting for LeBron to become the all time leader in points so they could start throwing that in though lol. I knew it would happen but still funny.
I'm not agreeing to disagree if it's wrong.
@@jtremaine23 Magic isn’t obviously better than Steph and TD. It’s very debatable. Also don’t confuse easier to score with making it LOOK easier to score. Everybody plays defense it’s just the star players today are unguardable. The average player in MJ’s era would probably be a g league player today. The level of offense has been raised since the 90’s. Not saying LBJ is the undisputed goat you can also make a case for MJ, and Kareem.
The thing with Kobe is he didnt play like MJ until Shaq came and opened up the court for him. MJ was ALWAYS MJ

MJ looked slightly bulkier and less explosive during the 93 season than in 92. That is possibly the reason why some in the media claimed he "lost a step" during the season despite averaging 32 a game. 1st time he shot under 50%(49.7%) since the 87 season(48%).
Tendonitis was affecting his athleticism by this point and it got gradually worse, and while it may have slowed his athleticism down, it didn't slow Jordan down as a hole. He was a beast.
Super quick and courageous.
Leaping like The Hulk on clouds!!!🔥🔥🎯
At seven years of age and in second grade, this was the year I fell in love with the Bulls. My dad had tried to get me to watch Bears and Cubs games up until that time and I didn't have any interest in it. One day after school I asked him if I could watch the Bulls and he said "uh... uh... YES!" and scrambled for the remote because his son was finally interested in sports haha! What a magical season this was!
Before the double-nickle game Michael Jordan had a fight with Chuck Norris, and MJ beat him to a pulp...that's how great Michael Jordan was!
