I’m going to miss tomorrow morning’s LIVE Preview for this video as I have been up all night working and I just can’t do it in less than 3 hours from now. BUT it’s going to be a great Tutorial!
SO AWESOME!! I've always loved stamps. You do the coolest things! I laughed so hard when you said "I don't know Mr. One Cent man, or two cent man... " 🤣
Your paper paintings reminded me of the Eric Carle process for creating his books!! I researched his work back in the late 90’s and in the Fall of 1999 I painted tissue papers and asked my daughter’s kindergarten teacher about having the kids make mittens and scarves for handrawn snowmen! We had a blast tearing and ripping and creating paper paintings😉👍 The project hung in the classroom till parent/teacher conferences were held! This new journal of yours is a fantastic project....I wish I had grandkids to do this with!❤️
I love Eric Carle although I do not love painting tissue paper... LOL He had way more patience than me! His museum is in Western MA where my family lives. You do not need to do this project with anyone, it's for yourself! it's a way to relax and enjoy spending time with yourself: self love, self care, self encouragement. Happy Holidays Kathryn!
I follow the Eric Carle museum on Instagram and it is on my Bucket List to visit some day. 🎨🎨🎨 When Eric Carle passed away last year, I was profoundly sad. However, I continue to spread joy to children reading aloud his books & being inspired by his joyful artwork!🎨🎨🎨So happy that I learned from you how to create my own colorful collages!🎨🎨🎨💝
@@ElizabethStHilaire that’s so thoughtful that the museum curators do that for the children. I also love that they hold workshops for children to finger paint collage paper!🎨🎨🎨
Love the page! Interesting that Churchill was none too happy when Roosevelt would not help England in Dunkirk ( I think it was Dunkirk....from the documentary)
Taught this 20 yrs ago b4 scrapbooking came king. I still have great difficulty in keeping the pages from falling out. Actually too much work. I need to reinforce each page
You popped up in my feed today. Fun project. Thanks for sharing!
thanks for being here Missy!

@@uglyartcountstoo I’m so happy too! The museum is wonderful, it’s out in Western MA where I’m from. The art is all hung low, for kids. :)

@@uglyartcountstoo I spent a lot of time in the kids area, making art with my nephews. Sitting in a very small chair :-)
That was a nice way to use old books I don’t have stamps, I can find another theme to make my book cohesive merry Christmas
There’s a resource for stamps below the video! Joggles has them. :) you can find other Themes for sure though. 💖 endless possibilities
Great ideas and fun!!
A winning combination Miranda! Happy holidays

You will not need to reinforce these pages and they do not fall out. They are very rigid, like card stock, so the rings snap in and stay put.
