Back in the day when Photoshop was a dark room where you cut up your negatives to make fake paranormal photos to fool your friends and local newspapers
As an artist I've studied faces so much that the unaltered images are the only ones to look normal to me now... That said, there are two more odd effects one can do to eyes to disturb them... By switching your eyes for Deane's, people can still tell that something is off. Also, with the glasses, it shows why masks can never truely fool us. Because our minds can sense when real eyes are looking at them, even if you had cut out your own eyed and used them to cover the glasses, our minds would find it hard to accept what it sees
I thought this was going to be a video about how we see faces when they are not there like if caves are placed at the right spot in a photo. I didn't expect it to be creepy like that.
That's very weird, as those photos were being rotated I could feel my brain trying to work them out and fix them, a nauseating feeling I must say.. Lol
Ha! Your shifting of the eyes does nothing to fool my autistic brain! I *never* look at people's eyes! Shifting the eyes around just looks like an upside-down face with right-side-up eyes to me.

Old punk and hippie zines.
Thanks for the nightmares - I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway
The right-way-up-head-with-wrong-way-eyes is downright creepy. I shuddered each time that rotation happened...
yep that's the point of the demonstration.
very interesting, even in the age of ai facial recognition. also congrats on 100k subs
Thanks a lot - please spread the word - Rob
That was great. Having a bit of a down night and that bought a chuckle. Such good memories. Love watching these clips.

i'm really intrigued to how brain recognizes faces as a art pupil.
Deane just about looks like James Franco when his pic is upside down... prove me wrong!
The synchronicity is huge! I was looking at this effect two days ago! :)
I need those glasses for work
Now that we have entered the era of computer face recognition and deepfakes, this clip has whole new meaning. Very interesting!
