The Targa 25 is an iconic explorer boat and this is a really nice example. Built in Finland by a yard that had been building these boats for almost 20 years by the time this one came off the production line, if you spend any time on board this boat, you can really see why this yard and this model has such a great reputation. The build quality is second to none. The design is cleverly conceived and well executed. The boat is an absolute pleasure to helm and feels solid and robust throughout.
This is a 1997 boat, powered by a Volvo Penta AD41 200HP Duo-Prop Sterndrive that has around 980hrs on the clock. Supplied originally by Wessex Marine in the UK, it has a well documented history with original VAT paid. And, since it’s been in Northern Ireland since 2019 (pre-Brexit) it has freedom of movement throughout Ireland or the UK, without attracting any further duties or taxes.
The boat is in outstandingly good condition throughout. The engine and drive appear sound and the boat is running really well - please check out our sea trial video to see how this boat is performing on the water. The excellent mechanical condition is supported by an extensive service history as well.
With full walk-around decks (with plenty of exterior storage and seating), exterior flybridge helm and pilothouse helm, seating for 5 or 6 in the wheelhouse, sleeping accommodation for 2 or more, a compact galley and separate enclosed toilet and shower compartment… Including warm air heating and gas cooking facilities; the Targa 25 is not only an accomplished all-weather day boat, but would make a great weekender aswell if you decide to explore further a field…
