I have yet to find Whiplash going for a decent price anywhere! Another thing you can do is a palace guard, which is still cheap and easy to get online and use those arms. But get acrylic base paint at the Hobby shop. Once you get SSSQUEEZE in hand. Just pop the arm or big hand off and bring it to where the paints are. Hold it up to the best match. Then, just paint the arms over the green, and you shouldn't have too much bleed through like a He-man arm, which is tan. To do an even better job. Prime both arms first. Then, apply two coats of paint . Maybe also use a sealer spray for acrylic. I have done these things in the past, and it works out well👍
The back card art mirrors the Keldor/Kronis two pack art. Unless my memory is off. I didn’t order this guy but I’m thinking I should get like 2. Origins figures became quite expensive over the years. Started at like $13 & now $20+
I don't remember the Keldor art either. But I think it was different from this card. This figure just came out or is still trying to get into the hands of certain online sellers through Preorders like BBTS. Hi there, great video, thanks👍 I live in the UK and the announcement of MOTU origins “vintage” going on mattel creations was like music to my ears tbh. Finding the figures I want is becoming much more difficult, as MOTU at retail in the UK is non-existent, apart from older wave peg warmers. Walmart exclusives aren’t available to fans outside of the states, this means scalpers prices for the most part. Mattel charge £9 shipping to the UK, and the website prices are inclusive of VAT, which makes the price point very reasonable and takes away the anxiety of finding this stuff. I purchased my last wave from BBTS, but at £23.99 per figure, plus 20%tax, plus a minimum of £16 shipping is extortionate in my opinion. I don’t believe availably at Mattel Creations will be any worse than it is anywhere else either… the exclusive releases since Grizzlor, have been easy. Not everyone will agree, but for me Mattel Creations is the way forward. I’ve been enjoying your videos for a while and have eventually got round to subscribing, I look forward to your future videos, take care👍

Plus, I try to get the latest figures and make the videos interesting by editing cuts and some short customs or parts mixing in the reviews. I'm happy to hear you like the idea of Mattel Creations selling the future vintage inspired Origins. Many people aren't happy with that outside the USA. I like the idea of the figures going there for the same reasons you mentioned, and it's a little cheaper for me because I'm in the USA. I really think the only way for Mattel to complete the vintage figures in the Origins is by selling them online at a place like MC. The Classics did something like this with Matty collector years ago and finished all the vintage inspired figures and another 100 plus figures as well. I don't think they will sell well at retail or its to costly today to put them in stores because the stores require a minimum order as well as the factorys. The Origins just sit on Clearance in all the stores I see. Maybe the few collectors by some stuff. But it's not enough to keep the line going. Unfortunately, an online website like Creations is the best way. But it's gonna cost more for certain people to get them now.
I know Mattel and Motu is notorious for reusing shit, but this one was kind of lazy. I feel they should’ve done something better with the head sculpt. It’s just the Eternian guard painted in green with red eyes, basically. I think I’m just going to use my snake trooper head on him. Still pretty cool, I guess.
Yes, technically, that is all it is! It's one of those figures that is just good for Army building or using other heads and parts like I showed. I guess you win some. You lose some with each wave. The cheap repaint figures like this give Mattel Extra support and funds to retool new figures like Spikor and Squeeze, for example, that can cost $ 100000 dollars in tooling and manufacturing. On a budget, it really sucks to get a figure on Creations. Frogger was $27 after shipping. It wouldn't be bad if they release a few at a time...I think there is plenty of demand for at least fan channel stores like BBTS or EE.... sigh. There's so much they could do with the line still.
Yes, the figures and many toy lines going forward are becoming more expensive and difficult to get, or they have to be purchased online now. Prices and inflation have really changed the economy, including toys and figures. I, too, have to make certain decisions in what I can buy and when or how much to budget.

My only nitpick with the palace guard/ infiltrator figures is that the helmet isn't removable. I'm going to customize the Snake Men Infiltrator and paint in scales and extra detail to his face & eyes.

I've already got 4 palace guards and I've got 2 infiltrators on pre-order. Planning to slap flat top Sun Man and Space Sumo's heads on the bodies to fill the ranks even further. Loving the darker green too

I just compared the alternative Mossman head up against this Snakemen Infiltrator figure under my photo light. The Mossman head is close in color but still a bit off from the body. The body has more gloss in it as well as a darker green tone. The Mossman head has more of a flat green color. I would say the two parts are a shade or two off from one another. It could work. But it's not perfect. Hopefully, this helps. Thanks for watching ✌️

Right now the rest of the Origins line will be sold at Mattel Creations going forward! But you never know with certain distribution of the Origins and were they show up to certain vendors or small retailers. I would say to a look at where you have picked up your Origins in the past and what kind of figures did they carry or import and what was the Mark up. Thanks for checking out the review! I just compared the spare Mossman Head up to the body of the snake infiltrator under my light. The colors are kind of close, but the snake infiltrator body seems a little more glossy or brighter than the Mossman head from what I see. But they do match better than any other Green on most of the other Origins figures like Man-At-Arms, the Palace guards, and Whiplash,
11:29 African American? That doesn't make sense for an Eternian. I suppose African for the skin colour and I guess American for the voice he'd have in a TV series.
I guess they wanted to add some diversity and the option to make The Classics Royal gaurds, either a white or lighter skin character. Black or darker skin character. And even Creature Troopers like the Snakemen or Carnivos clan warriors. It works well because all your changes are the head in the helmet. The body and hands are green. Muscle or skin suits. @@Themanchlid Eternians are pretty much humans, and Eternia is sort of Earth-like, so it does make sense for them to have all kinds of skin colours like we do over here. When it comes to characters with fantasy skin colours I remember being a bit confused by the likes of Trap Jaw when I was young. Thanks for making the video. 😀
The Masters of the Universe Cartoons, Toy lines, stories, and overall lore are all about imagination and fantasy. Really, anything can go! The palace guard pack I showed as an example or comparison was part of the Classics line that really explored different characters and cultures on Eternia and other dimensions like Etheria and Sub Eternia according to the Map that was made for the Classics. So anything can go and be possible with race, creatures, and magic!
Probably! But the Snakemen or Snakemen art shows different pupils for different Snakemen figures. I guess this Head is a mix between Snake and Human just looking at the front face design. So either pupil design works for the Origins! Thanks for watching 👍
I like the concept behind the Snake Men Infiltrators, but seeing one of them in hand, however, there really doesn’t seem to be much of anything “special” about him, if I’m being honest. Like you said, he’s basically just a repaint of the standard Eternian Palace Guard from 2 years ago. I don’t know, I guess I’m a bit indifferent. Weakest of the bunch, in my opinion. Doesn’t mean I won’t eventually try to get him (I wanted to be a completist with this line after all). I also had no idea that the face guard could be moved on either of those figures to reveal the face underneath!
I also really like the concept behind the Snakemen and figures like the infiltrator or Snake gaurds even know they are just basically quick repaints or re using of the parts. It's really nothing new as far as figures that share parts form the MOTU lines going back to the vintage figures. You do get Some cool art or a new card. Also a different head under the helmet and another Snake Staff in silver. He is great for army building and part swapping. But aside from that he is just a rip off of the Palace guard with those couple extra things I mentioned. Buying figures like this is a quick cash grab for Mattel without spending a ton of money for new Tooling but at the same time helps Mattel get extra capital that can be used to Tool newer figures that are still left which are very expensive to manufacturer and tool such as Modulok and Two Bad who of coarse has not been created yet for the Origins, but Mattel did say they promise to complete the Vintage inspired figures! Great video as always brother!! I really think they should have either made an un masked snake head for this one. Or they should have included this head with the deluxe Palace guard. Personally I'm skipping this one, probably the Man At Arms too.

Cool review! Thank you! In the Classics version, the reptilian palace guard wasn't an infiltrator, he was just a Repton volunteer. But seeing how good the Origins version looks with a silver Snake Staff, I may have to whip up a quick custom . . . .

That's rare. All the stores where I live and other locations have stopped carrying Origins. They put floating inventory that's still left in circulation. That's what it sounds like with your store.

Yes, I thought it would be fun to use a little imagination and try some snakemen heads on this infiltrator body as the snakemen can shape shift or take over a royal guard body or suit with the separate Ring that king Hisss had in the 200x show. @iliasfog8857 Mattel did say at SDCC that they will keep their promises and finish up all the Vintage Core Characters in the Origins line toward the end of this year and all next year. There are about 12 figures left, including Syclone, Rokkon, and Sy-clone, because they were already announced and shown the next year. So I would say Blast Attack is definitely on the list and will have the Snakemen sticker on the card for sure!

They did him in Classics on a Snake Man Card with a "new biocard" which is Bullsh*t "new Mattel". Mean's Mattel are the same idiots in terms of origins now? @iliasfog8857 Yes, many of the newer cards now have the Snakemen logo. They are doing the same thing with the packaging as the 200x line did in its third year with the Snakemen. Blast Attack would make the most sense to put a snake sticker on if he is developed because he is part of the Snakemen faction, and The Classics did it too with Blast Attack. So nothing really new!

Like you said, he’s basically just a repaint of the standard Eternian Palace Guard from 2 years ago. I don’t know, I guess I’m a bit indifferent. Weakest of the bunch, in my opinion. Doesn’t mean I won’t eventually try to get him (I wanted to be a completist with this line after all). I also had no idea that the face guard could be moved on either of those figures to reveal the face underneath!
I also really like the concept behind the Snakemen and figures like the infiltrator or Snake gaurds even know they are just basically quick repaints or re using of the parts. It's really nothing new as far as figures that share parts form the MOTU lines going back to the vintage figures. You do get Some cool art or a new card. Also a different head under the helmet and another Snake Staff in silver. He is great for army building and part swapping. But aside from that he is just a rip off of the Palace guard with those couple extra things I mentioned. Buying figures like this is a quick cash grab for Mattel without spending a ton of money for new Tooling but at the same time helps Mattel get extra capital that can be used to Tool newer figures that are still left which are very expensive to manufacturer and tool such as Modulok and Two Bad who of coarse has not been created yet for the Origins, but Mattel did say they promise to complete the Vintage inspired figures! Great video as always brother!! I really think they should have either made an un masked snake head for this one. Or they should have included this head with the deluxe Palace guard. Personally I'm skipping this one, probably the Man At Arms too.
Thanks for stopping in, Brother! Yeah, they could have done a couple of things to add more interest. But they just went very basic. The most unique parts of this figure are the body color and head for customs!
Cool review! Thank you! In the Classics version, the reptilian palace guard wasn't an infiltrator, he was just a Repton volunteer. But seeing how good the Origins version looks with a silver Snake Staff, I may have to whip up a quick custom . . . .

The Origins now turned him into his own concept. He definitely will make some cool customs. I like that staff in silver!👍

That's rare. All the stores where I live and other locations have stopped carrying Origins. They put floating inventory that's still left in circulation. That's what it sounds like with your store.

Yes, I thought it would be fun to use a little imagination and try some snakemen heads on this infiltrator body as the snakemen can shape shift or take over a royal guard body or suit with the separate Ring that king Hisss had in the 200x show. @iliasfog8857 Mattel did say at SDCC that they will keep their promises and finish up all the Vintage Core Characters in the Origins line toward the end of this year and all next year. There are about 12 figures left, including Syclone, Rokkon, and Sy-clone, because they were already announced and shown the next year. So I would say Blast Attack is definitely on the list and will have the Snakemen sticker on the card for sure!
@@Themanchlid Yes thats why i am asking...this year is the snake man wave. By this logic Rattlor and Lashor are Horde Members!. They did him in Classics on a Snake Man Card with a "new biocard" which is Bullsh*t "new Mattel". Mean's Mattel are the same idiots in terms of origins now? I remove this sticker for sure - this is 100% sure.
@iliasfog8857 Yes, many of the newer cards now have the Snakemen logo. They are doing the same thing with the packaging as the 200x line did in its third year with the Snakemen. Blast Attack would make the most sense to put a snake sticker on if he is developed because he is part of the Snakemen faction, and The Classics did it too with Blast Attack. So nothing really new!

Everything on this figure is a Repaint. The face looks like a regular face but painted green.
