@@sarcastico3238 who said that? It's hard to avoid but there are ways to cut back, like not buying all these individually packaged items. It's usually cheaper but less convenient, that's the trade-off that has been designed.
I always wonder how long it takes for those containers to dry your produce out if it's not eaten fast. Produce with lots of eater seems like it doesn't need the handle hole for storage

Lydia,our fridge is somewhat like a store's. And the plastic is not what is being displayed. I believe we are seeing a state of the art habitat for extending the nutritive value and live enzymes in field greens, asparagus, herbs, etc.
personally i love a chilled tomato, it’s not disgustingly warm and soft when you slice into it and you get beautiful non messy cuts when it’s in the fridge- try it out you might like it, there’s a saying called “don’t knock it till you try it”
