Seeing Paerau walk down the drive and all of you getting together brought me so much joy. Funny feeling that way towards a group of people I don't personally know, just goes to show how cool the content you create is!
I read the entire Ryan’s ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxGqOCINHE0Z0E5gxzSdNi9NWGugRY5Hm2 Plans and was able to make a shed plan. Using Ryan’s Shed Plans alone, the shed itself is great. Where I wish I knew more is with respect to ground preparation and foundations. Maybe that's beyond the scope of Ryan’s Shed Plans.
It has really brought me a lot of joy to see you back together with the crew! I think because you left mid lockdown I felt like you missed out on (0%) beers in the garage to say goodbye etc. I never even considered Paerau mightve been adverse to the camera, maybe because he was such a gent to watch on it. Thanks mate!
I’m so happy we got to see you, Rich, Paerau and Cam in this miniseries, I’m going to go back and rewatch the vlog from the beginning again now, see you in a month
Very sweet editing, loved seeing Paeru and the outro using the drive and the airport audio, going back to Nelson was great. Thank you as always bringing us along on your builds!
So Scott learns on Richard's cabinets so he does not make the same mistakes at home. Brilliant! 🙂 I am a retired electronics engineer and wannabe woodworker, so... when we redid our previous kitchen (about 8 years ago), I added led light strips under the overhead cabinets and the benchtop shelves. The trick I added was a motion sensor that only operated at night so that when either of us re-entered the kitchen at night with both hands full of empty coffee mugs the led lights would come on. Daylight kept them off.
So awesome seeing Paerau, the only others missing were Cameron and Gaston. That would have been EPIC. Another show, I’m sure! As always watching his videos is therapy and informative! Keep it up Scott Brown! I’m addicted to your show!
That transition into the squarespace add was perfect.. and what made it even better was seeing old mate paerau boll up.. lovely stuff.. keep it going big boy!
Love Richie's garage. The external and internal look. And that Square-space advertising just gets better! lol Good to see Paerau again. Love seeing the gang... it's like we all get together along with you
Hi Scott & Jess its great you got time to see family on your trip to Auckland. Nice work Richard i wish i had Scott as a mate my long time suffering wife has to put up with my half finished DIY projects. Its nice to implement Scotty’s building design and get the job finished thank you. Safe trip home
Mate, this video warmed my heart. I've followed all your videos throughout lockdown and it was so nice to see you guys together again. Reminds me of a very crazy time we all went through but I'm reminded of the fun times you guys had
Great video Scott! It was great to see the old crew back together including Paerau (Potter?). Always enjoyable to watch your videos. Keep them coming!!
Fixing backs on cabinets the way you did is common. The screws that fix through the back of the cabinet to the wall framing, have the same issue. The screws are taking more of a shear loading, they'll be fine. I do like using French cleats for over cupboards, its easy and you don't see your fixings. Another exciting episode, cheers Scott.
Zero beer is just the Shiz now. Love me a good zero. 15 years ago people laughed at me when I said it'd be popular. How crazy I was! Great to see the boys back together. Rich....love the segue to square space.
I'm a fulltime high end cabinet installer in Toronto Canada, 2 out of 4 shops I install for screw their backs onto the back of the cabinet just like you did. Use the right screws and you will be just fine. Now, making spacers and supports on the job site, I make sure to screw the back through the side.
Great to see the gang back together. Wood glue is a must for cabinets. Also if you mount a nice piece of 1 by hardwood to the inside of the cabinets at the top where you put the wall mount screws and run the screws through that it will be much stronger. Glue is much stronger than screws
A genuine "kudos" on that Squarespace segue guys. I'm lucky I wasn't drinking anything at the time, I would've spit it all over my screen. Kudos, you win the Internet.
3:29 ok, that 3D printed tracksaw router guide…. REALLY SWEET 👍🏻 So need to get into the 3D printer world; just not a clue to where I began. Thx Scott for another exciting and excellent video. Have a good one mate✌🏻
Hi Scott, greetings from Dublin 🇮🇪 Milwaukee finally just released their new track saw in the USA. If the chance to review it ever comes your way, it would be great to see it compared to the Bosch cordless track saw you tried out. I have that one myself and I have a feeling their both pretty similar 👍
I work at a custom cabinetry company and we build all our cabinets by putting the back on the way you did it (overlapimg the sides and top/bottom). Never had an issue with backs pulling off, just use glue and screws and you're good to go. Doing it the other way is alot more difficult and time consuming with alot more chance of seeing a hairline crack if it doesn't fit perfectly.
Seeing Paerau walk down the drive and all of you getting together brought me so much joy. Funny feeling that way towards a group of people I don't personally know, just goes to show how cool the content you create is!
I felt the exact same haha
I can't believe this video only has ~4800 likes. What a bunch of heartless sobs ;)

The garage reunion with Paeru made me smile. I think I need to reach out to some old friends today. Cheers from Southern California!
Scott, that transition to Squarespace was easily the best one you've had. Hilarious and "natural." Well done mate!
He had nothing to do with that, it was all me 😆
@@livingimprovements4382 Jess totally got her lunch handed to her.
@@didjwentworth5778 lol I was about to say, she's got competition now :')
Jess needs to up her transition game… this was just perfect!
Made me laugh hahahah

Is it weird that I was so happy to see the three of them together again?
Right camera work, right music, right building skills, right humour, right video editing. Always a pleasure to watch. Keep up the great work.
Very sweet editing, loved seeing Paeru and the outro using the drive and the airport audio, going back to Nelson was great. Thank you as always bringing us along on your builds!
Had to chuckle at that squarespace segway at 10:46 😄 & was good seeing you guys having a good ole catchup with Paeru as well 😊🤙
They got me 🤣

Great to see Rich and Paerau back on the channel..

So much nostalgia when Paerau walks in. I wonder how many people watch your channel 1st for the story with the education an added benefit
Great to see the boys back together.
Thanks for your channel, it’s really my favorite one and I’ve learned loads. Thanks, man.
World class segue in this episode! Rich's dry humour is really entertaining. Loved Jack the dog too. Another terrific exciting episode, many thanks.
The Square Space Segue was a thing of beauty
Great to see Paerau and Rich
Pareau!! Great to see everyone back together in a vid
You know it’s gonna be a good day when you get the notification of a new, exciting episode of Scott Brown Carpentry!
Happy to see Paerau again. In this exciting episode.
I thought seeing Paeru was the best part until that silky smooth Squarespace lead in. top notch
Hahaha the look on Rich’s face when he said squarespace. Classic. Well done sir. Beautiful delivery!
What a brilliant segue to Squarespace! 🤣 Awesome seeing the “old” team together again. Good videos man.
"We don't pronounce our 'e's the same as everyone else." Yes, I learned that way back when you were building a deck.
Or talking about the shed...
Not just methen
Everybody loves a big deck.
😂
🤣🤣🤣
Great content the old crew must say would be great if they fly down to your new house when the big build begins
Best of luck with it all
12:46 Wow! They finally replaced the old Mangere bridge! The old one stood there for many years even after they built the one you're driving on.
Love Richie's garage. The external and internal look. And that Square-space advertising just gets better! lol Good to see Paerau again. Love seeing the gang... it's like we all get together along with you

My grandpa always said, “When one door closes, another opens.”
He was a good man, but a lousy cabinet maker.
😂😂😂. Took me a while.
Very good 😊
Great video Scott! It was great to see the old crew back together including Paerau (Potter?). Always enjoyable to watch your videos. Keep them coming!!
Man … it's soo good to see the ol' crew back together again! 👍
The way you built the cupboards is correct Backs go on the back screws have a less chance of pulling rather the board splitting or delaminating
So good to see you reunited! That just made me oddly happy :D
Brave man. Doing a piece to camera whilst reversing with a cabinet so close to Richard's car!
Alot oh joy in that room, nice being able to share the moment with the world. Square space mentions dropped in a creative way and always a laugh.
Zero beer is just the Shiz now. Love me a good zero. 15 years ago people laughed at me when I said it'd be popular. How crazy I was! Great to see the boys back together. Rich....love the segue to square space.
My like is for Richard and his rectangular space segway. *Almost* as good as Jess.
Loved seeing the gang back together. Great episode Scott.
Richie's Squarespace segue throwing serious shade at Jess's
Arguably the best transition we've had on the channel to date. Good on ya!
Ok wait....now Rich is doing the segues? 😂 No worries Jess, it didn't last long. Your role is safe. hehe
Great to see Rich and Paerau again.
It’s good to see the gang back together. The magnificent three!
The trip seems like it was well worth it just to see the rest of your team
It's like you never left
Man that put a smile on my face to see the grew back together 😌
I'm a fulltime high end cabinet installer in Toronto Canada, 2 out of 4 shops I install for screw their backs onto the back of the cabinet just like you did. Use the right screws and you will be just fine.
Now, making spacers and supports on the job site, I make sure to screw the back through the side.
Jack patiently waiting for you to finish so he can get some pats was adorable.
Great episode seeing the old crew. So nice of you Scott to practice your cabinet making and make those mistakes on your friends cabinets 🤣

Yes, a nailer would have fixed all the problems.
It also makes attaching the back easier as well.
A genuine "kudos" on that Squarespace segue guys. I'm lucky I wasn't drinking anything at the time, I would've spit it all over my screen. Kudos, you win the Internet.
It’s nice to see you smiling and happy with your friends Scott, enjoy your time in Auckland
Transition: 15/10 well done RIch. So good to see Paureau!
Nice to see you back together Scott. Thanks for the latest exciting video.
So much love Scott! I got more beats I'll be sending soon
Nice to see the boys back together even if its just for one video
great to see you with your old mates again. :) Here's hoping for your Nelson equivalents!
@7:50 Paerau with brews. What a legend. And @10:50 Richard with an awesome intro for the ad. Reminds me of Steve Ramseys's The Grrrrripper ads.
When Paerau was walking down the drive I thought 'what a champ, bringing the boys a few bottles'. Then he revealed they were zero alcohol.
Always a good time, with Scott during my smokotime.
And the Ad inclusion mate... Didn't see it coming ! haha
3:29 ok, that 3D printed tracksaw router guide…. REALLY SWEET 👍🏻
So need to get into the 3D printer world; just not a clue to where I began.
Thx Scott for another exciting and excellent video.
Have a good one mate✌🏻
I just wanted to say that Jess did a very good job, I felt your community vibe :-)
So cool to see the crew back together ! Beautiful cabinets ! But now just need the sparky go move that down light the shines on top of it.
Your sponsorship announcement are top knotch, as soon as rich said it I was like oh christ as I lol'd
Good to see the team back together. And the squarespace link was the best yet.
Great to see you all back together and seeing the banter
You got a "bust out laughing" out of me, there, Richard!😄 A great line and superb comedic timing.
That was a dope lead in to square space . Top 3 of all time
Thanks Mate for taking us along for a ride on your "Worcation"
Best SquareSpace segue yet I reckon
Enjoying these reunion videos :)
It was great seeing the old crew!
Super nice to see all of you together again 😉 looks like you had great time... and I totally like the smooth Squarespace add intro 😃😃😃
Smart laundry SBC … good to see The Team! 😎
paureu, the music and that squarespace joke all put a smile on my face
Ha crazy how a Scott Brown video, can be so emotional hahaha building a cabinet far from home but the gang gets a reunion in it. Great video
Damn I missed paureau and rich. Legends, good to see them again
Good fo see Paerau again Scott. Tony from Canada
I was personally happy to see Pareau, and about that shed....

Thanks again Scott love seeing paerau! Now he just need to take a vacation to Nelson so he can help you with the kitchen remodel!!
Smoothest squarespace transition EVARRRRRRrrrRRrrRrrr...
In love with this channel ;D
The transition to the square space ad was awesome lol :D
French cleats mate! 6mm back and then 12/18mm for the cleat. Self supporting! Job done!
Very enjoyable, makes me miss my buddies who live in other countries now.
So nice to see you all together again!
Awesome to see Paerau come join you both for some beers and food! loved it
Hi Scott,greetings from Dublin 🇮🇪
Milwaukee finally just released their new track saw in the USA.
If the chance to review it ever comes your way, it would be great to see it compared to the Bosch cordless track saw you tried out. I have that one myself and I have a feeling their both pretty similar 👍
If you watch the Rugby tonight, good luck to the Irish!

Nice to see Richard and Paeru again, good beer choice as well ;)
Great to see the band back together 😍😍
Jess has competition with her Squarespace segways! One of the best so far...
They need a UA-cam award show with a Best Segue Into An Advert Category because I don't think yours are getting the recognition they deserve 😂
Awesome to see the men back together again 💯👌🏽
Why did I enjoy this video far more than any other in recent times?
That reunion really felt great to watch
Hey mate, at our workshop, base cabinets or floating, we still do the backs on top, it won't really make a huge difference.
Great to see Pareau again!
Love those zero’s, the kiwi Clayton’s beer. (That’s an old kiwi joke, look it up). Great reunion guys.
