Blondie - Maria - Bass Cover - Spector Euro 4 LX

Leigh Foxx is a Spector bass player who should be more celebratred. Apart from playing with Blondie for nearly 25 years he also worked with Debbie Harry before as well as Iggy Pop, Cindy Lauper and many more.
His bass line on Blondie's 1999 come back hit Maria is really fun to play especially the bridge before chorus. Key change under the guitar solo is pretty tasty too.

@@NXPBass really? I’d never have guessed. I don’t really like the way they they feel on my fingers, they die pretty fast and the LX sounds terrible when they do. I’m leaning towards Rotosounds now, must try a light gauge set.

I also use GHS Boomers on my Euro. Similar and seem to last a little longer. The D'Addario in this video were less than a week old

But the real story about the tone is not the strings I used it's the combination of the Spectir Tonepump and the B7Ku EQ
