      Overall, I've been impressed with the "Y" or grass blades & the articulation capabilities of the mower. I got a set of "Hammer" blades for it too. Those blades can cut sapplings up to about 3", from what I've seen. Thanks for stopping by.

    Will be interesting to see how well that you like it.

      Evening Gary. I'll try to get another video of the mower next time I mow the horse lot off. The Wife's Dang Horse doesn't keep up very well when it comes to eating the grass. LOL

    Nice looking mower! Would work great for field edges!! Vertical and horizontal.. colored zip ties work pretty good, paint is more permanent. But it still wears off with weather. Most of our hoses are tied together in pairs and the primary (usually the lift side) is painted red.
    Does a nice job!!
    Thank you Ron! Take care.

      Thanks Ed. Yes sir, field edges, ditch banks, etc. I actually have the hoses paired up from the cylinders & then paired up as to which hoses go to the retract couplings & extend couplings.

      Back in March. I know, it's not a Farmall, IH or a CASE INTERNATIONAL but, it was cheaper than most used of it's size & had "Warranty".

    I'd like to see that machine in buck brush and sappling trees

    • @crslyrn
      @crslyrn 5 місяців тому +1

      In order to do a decent job mowing buck brush, you'd have to change out the blades for a set of the hammer blade style. From what I've read, the hammer blades can cut sapplings of about 2 inches in diameter (50mm).

    Looks like it did a nice job! If you get all your hydraulics set, can you just let the three point hitch float, or do you have to adjust things on the go?

    • @crslyrn
      @crslyrn 5 місяців тому

      Thanks Chris. I'm still learning how to run the dang thing yet. 😂😂 It's pretty slick being able to easily change the position of the mower on the go. In hindsight, I did forget to pull the pin on the 3 point of the mower that allows it to move freely when following the terrain of the ground. I'll try to get another video out next time I mow the horse lot.

    You can mark your hoses what color zip ties

    • @crslyrn
      @crslyrn 5 місяців тому

      Whatever color of zip tie combination that works for you. I've marked one set one color & the other set another color. I used the combination of a single zip tie for one direction & two zip ties for the other direction. I literally hate trying to figure out hydraulic hose combinations when hooking up to an implement.
