That's so funny. We call " polo ", the type of shirts that polo players wear ( similar to tennis shirt but the polo collar is somehow special).
We call her signature sweaters, " turtleneck". So funny how from different places we have different names for same thing.
I like the french name, col roulé. Rolled collar. Says it all.
Polo shirts became so popular and frankly awful ( in corporate america) to have employees wear the polo shirt w the corporate logo. Yuk !!!
