Honestly I can see the difference if compound and crossbows but like it’s still archery yes you can get long shots and more accurate shots but you can with a compound too both take practice stop judging people for what they hunt with as long as there happy and enjoying the great outdoors don’t matter compound crossbow rifle the harvest is just a bonus any who won’t go on anymore y’all enjoys y’all season this year and be safe and best of luck
Thank you - and amen! Mikes a hell of a hunter. He put himself within a chip shot of that buck and that’s what matters. We really appreciate your comment and taking the time to watch our video. Thank you.
Mike’s been exercising his shoulder and is hopeful to get back to vertical bow. For now, whatever keeps him in the woods is what’s important. But yes, after seeing him today it does sound like he’s hopeful to get back to it this fall.
You guys and you're crossbow problems, with compounds as good as they are now days, you guys should put them away and start shooting recurves! Some guys run their mouth to much before knowing the story! Nice deer and congratulations on you're crossbow harvest
Ya same here. Lol. What a mess. Local archery shop selling three crossbows for every bow here in Indiana. Doesn’t do any good having more hunters anyway. Most don’t stand up for hunting anyway.
Crossbow compound bow traditional bow pcp big bore airbow , who cares as long as you’re outdoors hunting and having fun ! I’ve hunted with every bow and now I have limited use of left arm and I shoot crossbow and anyone else shooting crossbow are just as worthy of a hunter as the next ! There’s no one way or the other better in regards to taking game and killing so gtfoh with that bullshit …
Your right. Crossbow in this video was used when it should have been. Absolutely. And I’ve always agreed we need more hunters. It just sucks having that many more people sharing the archery season. Maybe a separate season would be good. Idk. It’s not archery. And it’s not rifle hunting either. The problem I see is we have a bunch of people that aren’t passionate enough about the sport to hunt more than two weekends a month getting out in the woods doing the half ass shit they do during the gun season during archery season. The same people that do a half ass job of supporting our sport. Nothing wrong with a crossbow. It has its place. And maybe needs its own stand alone season. The whole reason for the crossbows being legal during archery was to eliminate more deer anyway. Not because someone in power thought it was in anyway archery. Just my two cents. Calm down. Everyone here loves hunting.
Mike has a shoulder injury that prevents him from pulling his bow back. The injury had been reignited by the time November came around. He’s a hard worker who works with his hands and his body is constantly tested. He explained that in the video after shooting the doe. Please don’t give a guy a hard time for using a crossbow that keeps him in the woods.
As hunters in today's world we need to band together and support one another. I don't crossbow hunt but if I was injured I would. The anti's are the enemy, not fellow hunters regardless of the weapon.
WI and other states like it should adopt Idaho‘s policy on crossbows. Apply for a 5 year permit with a doctor’s signature. Crossbows should be limited to people with injuries and the elderly. I’ve run into too many yahoos, like my neighbor, that would normally only hunt gun season because they are not committed or disciplined enough to put in the effort to practice with regular archery equipment for days on end. I had to hunt with a crossbow due to an injury a few years ago, humiliating. I didn’t like guys seeing me carrying my crossbow off the mountain and as soon as I recovered went back to regular archery equipment and never looked back. If I posted a hunt with a crossbow, I would mention the circumstances, but that’s me. And if you’re a good shooter, a raven doesn’t offer you an advantage over a compound, just a short cut. This video should of posted crossbow hunt
We can take this under consideration for next time, however, we think based on Mikes condition and need for using a crossbow paired with his ability to get inside or 15-yards of a mature buck demonstrates a successful hunt more so than cutting down on the video and overall success of the hunt. Sorry you didn’t appreciate the video.

🙌
Great work as always guys. Best of luck this season. Cool seeing the cross bow.
Thank you!!
Congratulations. Smacked that doe!
Did your Shoulder Injury start to bother you again? Is that why you switched back to the bowgun?

His crossbow killed a big Buck while u hating and letting him hunting with a crossbow take up space in your head 😂
Thank you, Mike!
Bender is quick to judge without knowing anything about what someones abilities might be
Suppose it’s human nature. Doesn’t bother us too much.
I agree with you whatever keeps you in the woods. But next time say big buck with a crossbow so I don’t watch the video. Good luck to you Sir.

Thx for the feedback
"Cranked my bow back to 70, hope the rest of the season goes this well"? Oh what the hell...... lets get the raven out and ruin this video!!!!

Just use what will ever keep you in the woods is how I look at it
If he has shoulder issues why is he using a 70 pound bow?
