I have been looking for a local church, one visit and teachings are visibly not biblical. 2 weeks ago I thought I finally found a church, but the notices showed a female paster for the next week's service.
A christian is scared into staying away from church.
I will keep preying for the Holy Spirit to help guide me to true christians so i can gain knowledge and wisdom of His word and not be deceived.

My husband and I have been unable to find any church locally that isn't pastored by husband and wife team or Sunday worship lead by God Almighty....we have been through 3 different churches in the last 10 years.....they are mostly NAR... Hillsong, Bethel ....little God churches or prosperity churches... except one was a Saturday Church of God...excluding the Holy Spirit from the Trinity:(...we are struggling to find an assembly that's in God's Word :( ...we are or rather I am disabled to an extent.... and most churches are greedy towards the young folks... and we easily get lost in the events or shifted out of fellowship

God actually put the church in your spirit man… the Holy Spirit is the church.
The church isn’t a physical thing that man has made it to be at Jesus sent his spirit it was complete.
The church is God’s chosen that share the same spirit this way you can easily connect in spirit when you pray in the spirit
Many are impure, so their prayers are not effective or heard at all.
God will guide you if you stay in that Bible day and night, singing and praising and YouTubing sermons just keep this going…

Actually I consider it a privilege tp go to church on Sundays, I was glad when they say let us go to the house of The Lord
I did too, till I had counseling with a family pastor and was told hope is like throwing pennies in a wishing well.
I'm actually concerned of all the laughing in churches these days; not that they are laughing but what is being laughed about. Just recently I heard a pastor (not saying which one) talking about people with depression and anxiety and how the pills are not helping. While I agree the pills cause more damage, there is nothing funny about people suffering, NOTHING. Pastors need to be correcting the flock following. If they enjoy being a comedian, they should not be using the lost to do so.

Church has been a place of safety for me during years of abuse. A hiding place...
This is true, however, the level of church leadership leaves a lot to be desired.

That's an excuse. Yes there are some bad pastors/leaders out there, but there are also alot of great ones too. You just have to keep searching for the right one who leads righteously.

One of the issues I hear people bring up when they talk about why they don’t attend church is that they can’t find one where the pastor isn’t pushing social justice or they aren’t twisting the words around to fit their worldview.
Thank you for this Word. My family and I are going through a moment of disagreement with our pastor and how he is running the church. I was recently called to pastorship and have been trying to work along side my pastor in submission to his authority, but I have encountered several things that have shaken me to question his work. I have kept quiet and am seeking the Lord for guidance. I appreciate everything you spoke about in this sermon and it is helping me clear my mind and find peace to move on in the laborious calling to shepherd a flock of souls. I love the church and I pray I do the right thing. God bless.

The last church I went to begged and pleaded for tithes repeatedly...it was a mini mega church. the pastors in the 2 top spots were husband and wife and spent most of the time talking about anything but God or the bible. Voddie you are the only one I've found for me. I understand trust and believe you.

It is the body of Christ, that each one of us born again belonges to, in our locality that we are talking about here. Discerning this body is of paramount importance. No one who is not submitted to the local body is a member of the Church universal!

Good morning. I am from South Africa. My husband and I are born again Christians undergoing a great deal of persecution right now and I am reaching out to my larger spiritual family to pray for and with us. I did not want to speak about this for fear that we would be judged, especially by Christian people. And honestly, we have experienced judgement before from Christian people. My husband has been accused of rape and the corrupt judicial system has failed us. Can you please pray for and with us? Is there anyone on this platform either a similar experience that would like to share or encourage us? I have received both great love and great condemnation from my fellow born again brothers and sisters, and I am sad about that I have been denied grace at some of my worst times, by some of my born again family members.

“Churches” closed their doors on their members 3-4 years ago in fear. There was no differentiation of their behaviour during C-19 from secular business places. Very very few took hits for trying to keep the local communion alive. So talk about what that did to the church community concept. I left that institution of groups in buildings during that time and nothing thus far has moved me to go back. I consider myself a believer in Christ and that is a universal concept.
A small church of poor people saved my life during lockdowns they opened hidden.

Couldn't agree more!!! The "church" showed its true colors over the last 4 years! To say I was disappointed in the behavior of "the church" over these last few years is an understatement! Does the.bible not tell us that "the church" is NOT a building, but the hands and feet of His saints??? (Paraphrasing).

Thank you Pastor VODDIE, well said and well taught for I am in belief of such because your teachings are of biblical and divine doctrine which I truly thirst for , my ability to choose the right church is lacking , I live in DC and it is so hard for me to trust a pastor here , I am a delivered lesbian and I know this in my heart and I believe it as well but there's so many that have gone away from true biblical teaching and have adopted the lie's of a culture that is at war with God's truth , I've attended an LGBTQ church years ago and stopped because I was uncomfortable , with that being said I acknowledged that it was the holy spirit that convicted my heart , Sir what do you suggest ? I get feed daily spiritually by yourself along with Pastor John Macarthur but I know that I need to fellowship under a true and rightous teacher who have my soul in the best interest of Jesus Christ on the cross ; yeah Pastor VODDIE , I refuse to stray from the truth under some teacher that compromise the true gospel and instead appease the culture with a false ideology leading a fallen people to hell at the same time collecting funds , God bless you Pastor VODDIE and your family , your advice will be greatly appreciated , all the glory belong to Jesus Christ , (Praise God ) the most high.

I got saved in my basement almost four years ago. For the past three years I have been without a church and studying and learning through different Ministries online, two of the biggest being Pastor Voodie Bauchman and Pastor John McArthur 🙌. I had full intention of just being settled with that because 1) I didn't want to have to deal with people and their mess 😢. I was happy finally being a true Christian and learning from home thru my personal studies and UA-cam pastorship 🤔🤗. But as I began to study and the Holy Spirit began to do it's work within me. A minister I was having Bible Study with daily on TikTok, Minister Chip Mitchell loving and teaching God's Word 🙏. I was good, I had all the teachings I needed. Well, the Holy Spirit began to convict me and I knew I needed to find a local church with a local pastor to care for my soul. Also, as I began to disciple small groups, I knew what God had put inside of me, needed to be shared to help build the body of Christ. For we have many members all with different gifts for the perfecting of the One Body. I knew God did not save me to be a long ranger. I knew and felt convicted that I was operating out of fear (sin) and being selfish. So I started visiting churches and wasn't finding the Word being taught in truth. I needed a Pastor that loved God's people and was concerned about the souls and not seats and fame. I asked Minister Chip to help me find a local pastor for he was familiar with the area and a lot of churches. It took him about two months because I told him exactly what type of church I needed to help me finish my Christian journey.
I started visiting this one church for three months and also following the Pastor's Bible teaching online. I finally went to the welcome center where you can go meet the Pastor and other Minister leaders 🙌. I told the Pastor I was in search of a church and felt this is where God was leading me. I said to his face but I had to watch you and listen to you to see if you was going to preach hype need props and teach sound doctrine. He was not offended and prayed for me and said he looked forward to partnering with me in the ministry and they surrounded me in prayer. The worship music 🎶 🎵 🙌 ❤️ brings tears to your soul, the teaching is sound doctrine, the members have a heart for God. I went thru discipleship class and was baptized on my birthday 🎂 May 5. You can watch it online. I was surrounded by 35 family members at my Baptism. ❤🙏❤
Last, my daughter who had been a lesbian since her freshman year of college now attends church with weekly and I don't have to ask her anymore. She gets ready on her own. And the sisters just wrap their arms around her like she is their daughter. God is going to bring her fully in, I just have to continue to show Christ in my life as I am now truly saved and my life is a reflection of it. This is what has touched my daughter's heart and started her to come back to church. Her journey is her journey and I am loving her thru it.

Voddie has an interesting view of the meaning of rogue. Apostle Paul was very clear about his assignment to the gentiles and 3 + 14 years before checking certainly does imply defying what he knew to be law as it relates to both Christ and the Jew during his ministry. Mind you this had to be authorized and blessed by Christ to have come to pass. Love when VB preaches from the Bible. God is sovereign until pastors start talking about Christ’s church.

I am looking for a chruch to go to under the guidance of Yah but have yet to find one. It's hard to find a chruch that isn't rooted in the traditions of men and actually teaches the scripture. If anyone in Kansas city mo knows of a quality chruch that follows the scripture and is race oriented. Please get in touch.

I've been struggling to find a church for over a year now. I pray, I pray, I pray and I beg, I beg and beg the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit... nothing happened...yet. Im desperate and wonder, maybe I am damned and God has already set me to be in the eternal fire. Regardless All I can do is to keep praying. like John said to Jesus, where else could I go to? I pray God in his infinite grace, he would have mercy of my rotten soul, even in Hell, by allowing me to whisper his HOLY name as comfort in my eternal tourment.
PS. in case anyone would be kind enough to read through my comment. I would be grateful if you could share with me any information you might have about a good church in South Texas, Rio grande Valley, especially Edinburg, Mcallen, Mission areas. Thank you and may God's grace and love be with you
I've been looking for a church that doesn't have Easter egg hunts for kids. Still haven't found one. I can't be a member of a body that follows pagan rituals and lies to kids about Santa and the tooth fairy etc
True and not true. It is very important to belong to a Church body. However, many Churches today you could barely even call a Church (in the past too for that matter).
First, it's important to have a basic foundation of the correct Gospel. Second, there are false Churches and false teachers. This makes things more complicated than a surface issue.
Honestly, I value Voddie as a Pastor, and have heard many of his sermons and read several of his books. But a person needs to know what's most important in their Christian walk and find a Church with those values.
The thing that bothered me is many places have a name Church, or a name Pastor/Preacher/Dr., etc., but have been completely infiltrated or just plain crooks to begin with! So without any mention of this and just a call for people to "member" up in their local Church is not routing out the bad apples. We are called to have discernment (especially in these times which are so far removed from reality), as Matthew 7 says (you will know them by their fruits).
Foundation: You and I are inherently sinners and sinned against God's moral law (ten commandments), Jesus paid the fine for those sins for those that believe in him, and repent (change direction as Billy Graham would say), deny yourself, pick up the cross, and follow Him (might have to unpack some of those for anyone not sure). There is a TOTAL submission in that. God will change you (you can't do it yourself).
Discernment! I have seen some horrific Churches and Church leaders. We can't just leave that alone. I understand Voddie speaking of the shift (universal vs local) but things are far more complicated than that. If you just submit to any Church you might find yourself not calling homosexuality a sin etc and going with the flow.
Be vigil, READ your BIBLE, and find a Church body that will stand firm with Christ, prepared to be persecuted, as any true Christian knows will inevitably happen.
P.S. I never write anything in all these videos but felt compelled to do so here. Disclaimer: I am fallible and a sinner but through the works of the holy Spirit (which constantly points me to Christ and Scripture) I continue to allow my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and sanctify and work that wretchedness out of me, and to his Glory, one day be made righteous and worthy of the new heavens and new earth promised.

I live in a small town which is 2/3 Mormon. There are about 2500 people in the town with 10 “churches”. I have visited most of them. The Gospel is not preached so as to not scare people away. I was told by a young Pastor, just before he left town, “The only way we get new members is to steal them from another church.” I have a home Bible study with six souls every Wednesday at my house. I used to drive 80 miles to church who are a reformed church. I am a reformed Baptist and they are reformed but baby baptizers. Driving 80 miles in the winter is not easy. Should I join a church just to have fellowship? Is the actual Gospel important? I’m not a Pastor. I am not an expert, for sure. Please tell me if I should support a church that is just a little off in their theology for fellowship? I yearn for fellowship! Where should I get it?
The only "church" in my area is a morman one and uumm No
Look for other believers like you and start regular meeting..
You can be the starting point of bringing the unchurched believer together around you for worship..

This is an excellent sermon and here comes the butt. But when your church is not following according to the Bible. Our church is wanting to align with a church that has a woman pastor. We are leaving that church
Voddie: First let me say I loved and was moved by this sermon as always. That being said I must take issue with one part of it. I just couldn't let it go. Subject: Saying that we should submit to the Pastoral authority of our church. Even when so many Pastors nowadays are taking biblical teaching totally out of context, or misinterpreting the scriptures creating their own theologies and twisting the meaning to their congregations. Who then are we to turn to? On top of that you publicly admonish someone seeking your guidance because of your very extensive biblical and theology knowledge. Then telling them to respect their pastors authority? Is that to be followed by whether they are right or wrong? Then as if to imply, don't get me in the middle of your squabble. You guys work it out. Olsteen, Meyers and dozens of other false Pastors would love that part of your sermon. I imagine they would love to play that part of the video for their congregations just for the authoritative edge. I was just surprised and a little dismayed at your response to that confused and lost individual. The Sheppard who left the ninety nine to find the one lost sheep. What a beautiful concept that is. As stated I really am moved spiritually by your sermons so this isn't about trolling or hate speech.

So “sit down and shut up.” I’m glad Martin Luther didn’t sit down and shut up. I’m glad William Tyndall didn’t sit down and shut up. And I hope Joel Osten’s congregation doesn’t sit down and shut up. With the internet it’s kind of like a second reformation in some ways. If the local congregation is wrong the internet can be used to gain knowledge to challenge it. And in 2024 that is very useful and needed (even though it “can” be abused). I strongly believe in the local church but with all kinds of whacky teaching I’m glad people feel compelled to challenge what they are taught - as did many Roman Catholics back in Luther’s time.

Much of what he says is good and true, but I disagree about his piling on people who go to conferences to try to find his breath of life I, dare say most churches today are pathetic and lack the kind of community that we had in the past, most of the past, until this is reformed, you’re gonna continue to have people who will listen to pastors on social media And who will go to conferences for breath of life.

After being saved for over three years, I found thru prayer and work a local church and I am so glad the Holy Spirit brought conviction to my heart. The local churches were founded in homes not in buildings we call churches. The church is the people and whether you’re able to attend the gathering or not that does not exclude you from the church. Should we condemn Daniel for praying and worshiping alone before he was thrown in the den? Was God not with him Because he was the only worshipping? I’m not saying forsake the assembly but It should not be frowned upon for a family to worship together in their home!
