i'm probably reading too far into it and i don't care, it's so beautiful. the cinematography is gorgeous. every moment is enrapturing. it truly gives a sense of, funny song cause it's jazz emu, but it also has this tragic insanity to it. "never got past page eight" "i want to have sex with my life" and the further lean posing with the 3 dudes is a perfect example of how you lose yourself in the process of trying to have the best life, especially when u tell lies. he's a broken leg with a bandaid on it that is slowly peeling off. the moment it drops away, he loses everything so he keeps adding super glue but it's not enough. he's living so far in the fantasy he loses all reality. this isn't put very well but i did my best to describe how it felt watching this video. i love your music and the story telling you're able to portray with it edit: rewatched it, more details. notice how the slow clapping at the end where he's so wrapped up in his fake world, he causes problems in the real world. IE falling in the fountain. The girl on the train, he's trying to impress but it's not enough cause he's not being true to himself thus turning other people away. he can't even become friends with ppl like him who want a romantic life because it's a competition. picturing himself in a famous painting shows the true narcissism and gall of the man only to have it stripped away before our eyes, exposing the fraud he is. nothing but a lonely man in front of a green screen

I noticed that “I could get into it” ends with JE leaving the room through the door and this one starts with him exiting the door on the other side. Very cool, can’t wait to see the rest of the album
This visual track was more delicious than the most super-duper of reduplicative phrases. In fact, every time I hear-watch this, every cell in my body gets replaced with a new cell. "Romanticise" by Jazz Emu is the only tool I have for an instantaneous and complete molt due to the consistent visuaudio ecstasy overload.
Anyone else feels their brain tingle when a new jazz emu song is released. Only for it to be blasted like its sitting in an electric chair once you listen to the song?

Thank you for the auditory experience Mr. Emu I love all your songs for their humour and wit but this one in particular struck a chord with me. I think it contains a beautiful message that I needed to hear at this point in my life, and I will take it to heart :) I won't be able to make it to the fringe this year but I'm hoping to be able to see you perform live again in the near future
The instrumental and backing vocals on this are next level! There's so much going on! It even has Nine Inch Nails-esque parts. This has the most interesting rhythm of any of your songs. Shoutout to the drum fill at 1:02!
