I’m 52 years old I’ve been diagnosed with PTSD and social anxiety So I was in my 20s and never forced to go to a counselor I always went to one of my own, . I’ve always had my kids go to counseling on their own LG. look at it like this. It never hurts to have a second opinion. Somebody who don’t have a steak in this race outside perspective see I don’t make the best spur the moment decisions sometime I act on impulse and that sometimes tended to give me in trouble in my younger days. I take what sounds good and put in my toolbox. The rest I throw it away they treat you different when you in there because you wanna be there not because they making you go there and they can use that control mechanism calling your PO or getting you in trouble with . you can leave anytime you want . We as people are afraid I’ll let people know their business because of that control mechanism . even if it’ll help them or in the future fuck that I’m here to break the cycle 95% of the young black men in the hood have PTSD along with drug addiction, and all they’re doing is self medicate without even knowing it. I self medicated for 30 years. That’s what I try to today let’s these kids know today it’s a set up. It becomes a crutch after so long that you can’t function without it. All due to mental health.
