Thank you Fr Mike 🌟 Happy Easter ✝️ The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ is a source of great hope. Life is a blessing, where we try to become like our prototype Jesus Christ ☺️ The King Of king, taught us that sacrifice is the true identification of love🌻
He is risen Alleluia. I am terminal in constant excruciating pain. I offer this pain for the poor holy souls ,for those that need it most And especially those that need it most. I pray my way through the day Especially those people who have no one to pray for them. Amen
Dear Laura, Try some essential oils to rub on for the pain: Frankincense, Cypress, Peppermint, lavender, Care One vapor rub (Vicks changed the formula away from essential oils). Watch out for sensitive areas, apply topically. Talk with doctor and ask him to look on a medical database of scientific studies. NIH is being robbed of their very precious studies by Mr. Complications, wanting to ruin.
I'm so thankful to have access to such a nice service on those Sundays when I am sick and can not go to service, like today. Thank you for sharing your message with us on this Easter Sunday! He is Risen!
Fr Mike, I go to Mass at my parish but continue to listen & learn from your Sunday homilies as well as the Catechism! In 2021, I followed you in reading the Bible. You are truly a Treasure! Blessings and joy.
Once again, Father Mike, you enlighten me with your homily. I learn so much from you every time you speak. I am so thankful that God put up in my path. Happy Easter everyone.
I pray for my daughter who rejects Jesus. I pray for her children who have not been baptized. How I desire their conversion and salvation. How I desire the conversion and salvation of all of us. Mother Mary pray for us. Jesus bless us with the grace of final perseverance.
I was so sad that I was not able to attend Mass because of being ill. I was so tired of this body and the suffering. Fr. Mike’s words were truly anointed by the Holy Spirit. They soothed my soul with healing balm and gave me the joy of the Resurrection on this feast of the Resurrection of Christ our Lord, as I was blessed to participate in the Holy Mass at home. Praise God and thank you Fr Mike and all who contributed to this.
Thank you father for helping me to understand the soul and the importance of the body. It all makes sense through the scriptures. Thank you. Great sermon father!
Thank you Father Mike for your inspiration in doing God's work so I can in some small way also do His work. I wish you endless blessings on this holiest of days.
Happy Easter everyone! Thank you so much Fr Mike for helping me to truly understand our incredible faith. After completing Bible in a Year in 2021 & learning through Catechism in a Year this year, my life has become more & more God centered. Despite being a cradle Catholic, how ignorant I was. I find such joy in my faith. Today at mass, I was just overwhelmed with joy! After receiving His Body & Blood, I was just filled with feelings of pure joy, love & gratitude. I couldn’t stop my tears. And no Kleenex🤦🏻♀️ You have been such a wonderful disciple, teacher. I look forward to many years of learning more & spreading our faith!

I'm a 40yr Christian raise in a non practicing Catholic-ish family. The mass and the rosary are attractive to me, but I'm wary of the focus on Mary and less on Jesus. How should I proceed?
I’m confused about the bodily integrity in heaven. (Forgive my ignorance, I am a Protestant seeking and journeying towards Rome). When Jesus rose in his earthly body, he still had his scarred hands and feet, and the hole in his side. If he maintained his earthly scars, why would we not? I’m coming from that “heretical” concept in my Protestant background of believing we get a “new spiritual body” in heaven, so if there’s a proper resource I can be referred to, that would be great! I am open and willing to learn.
Once we are resurrected, we are in charge of our bodies, and we can keep the scars or whatever we have as we wish, our own identity so to speak. Jesus showed the disciples the scar to show them that He was the one who died and was resurrected. He did not have to keep all the scars, so we can choose to keep whatever we want. Jesus ate with the disciples after His death, so we can eat and taste many things, the fun remains to be seen. One good thing is that we will be able to teleport, levitate, so we can travel and visit lots of places on earth or in the universe, the kingdom that God wants us to be. How cool could that be!
That's a distinction without a difference and therefore not a thing to disagree about. Creatio ex nihilo is not merely the spontaneous appearance of things where there was nothing before, it is: 1.. _CREATION_, which means it is the exercise of divine power and that power is formative of what it produces. 2. It is ex nihilo, not absolutely, but out of nothing ELSE OTHER THAN the active power of the Creator. It is an exercise of divine energy, but not on any already present material medium existing independently of His of power to uphold things. Rather it is an act which produces what it is exercised formatively on and constantly supports and preserves it in being. Creatio ex nihilo and creatio ex deo are therefore the exact same thing described from different points of view. They are both ways of saying that The Origin of All Things Is Out of the Power of God And Nothing Else Besides.
Christ is risen!
Thank you Fr Mike 🌟
