The major issue with this comic is that the writer doesn't understand how strong Spider Man is. There's no way ordinary humans could have captured Spider Man, especially if he doesn't have his humanity holding back his strength. His punch to Baron Zemo would have exploded his head.

And maybe they use spidey sense well 1 or 2 times but that one gets forgotten a lot too. Come to think of it they also downplay venom's strength and carnage's a lot too because they should be even stronger then they are depicted as well.

Yeah, as soon as it started I was like " Wait, You have to explain how he became Savage Spiderman first" It's a 2-part, 6 episode each series. I discovered it online a couple of months ago and read it all in one sitting. It's so very well drawn and compelling story-wise. A masterpiece.

It would’ve been cool if they had written Savage Spider Man to be the alternate Earth version of Spider Man. The High Evolutionary would begin experimenting on humans and one of these humans would be this realities Peter Parker who has loss both Uncle Ben and Aunt May at an earlier age along with his parents. Peter would volunteer to find jobs and this would attract the attention of The High Evolutionary who would abduct humans and begin experimenting on them. Peter would be one of the High Evolutionary’s experiments and result in his DNA being altered and Peter being mutated into a Human Spider. Peter would escape from the High Evolutionary after some assistance from Gwen Stacy who would sacrifice herself to save Peter Parker and the other humans. Peter not wanting to join human society would runaway into the forest of the Savage Land,fearing that humans would treat him as an outcast.
The logic doesn't make sense without the emotional variable, the whole plot resolution was about humanity, which makes no logical sense, IT was more like the authors took spiderman and tried to make him logical while still trying to make him stick to his moral and ethics. Like why didn't he just kill Wulf? Logically speaking it would be much easier than trying to detain or knock him out and he has no use for him.
The story’s neat and all but we’ve had so many monstrous man-spider stories that it hardly feels original anymore. However, the second part of the story completely changes things. The cold calculated human side is a darker exploration of his intellect that we’ve had yet to see.
Both were to show two sides of the same coin of humanity. Our primal animal side and our cold robotic intelligent side. And what it looks like when you completely become one or the other. Honestly his pure intelligence side was badass especially the "You had to steal genius, I was born one" I want to see more of that Spiderman

I feel like IM the only one that liked it but for me, I loved how the Origin of Venom in the Ultiamte Spiderman show was actually just pure agression taken from peters DNA, I thought that origin was perfect for venom considering he is a venom to spiderman but he is apart of him too.

A very similar character existed in the 90's animated Spider-Man series. It was called Man Spider and wasn't quite as brutal, Peter slowly transitioned into Man Spider after his powers mutated him. Only at the very end was he so animalistic, having 6 hairy arms and a spider face
The video doesn't say but he built it quickly out of armor parts of guards from the ship when he was sabotaging it and glued their weapons on it with his web.
The Savage Spider-Man Suit reminds me of Captain Universe _minus_ all space theming. It feels almost like... Spider-God in Man Form in energy. This is like Spider-Man going full totem. The primal Spider Totem Equivalent of Captain Universe.

A bit of a shame they destroyed that suit, I really liked it. It was almost like a military version of the Spider-Man suit or something hydra would create, but with red replacing the green.

The spidey-suit in this alt reality is pretty bomb. The Spider-Monster is also a neat combination of both aspects of Peter.

A very similar character existed in the 90's animated Spider-Man series. It was called Man Spider and wasn't quite as brutal, Peter slowly transitioned into Man Spider after his powers mutated him. Only at the very end was he so animalistic, having 6 hairy arms and a spider face

The video doesn't say but he built it quickly out of armor parts of guards from the ship when he was sabotaging it and glued their weapons on it with his web.
I thought he mightve made a suit out of his webs like Silk does

The Savage Spider-Man Suit reminds me of Captain Universe _minus_ all space theming. It feels almost like... Spider-God in Man Form in energy. This is like Spider-Man going full totem. The primal Spider Totem Equivalent of Captain Universe.

Really liked most of it though; Pete losing himself to instinct( impulse, instinct or whatever drove him) as "Savage", THEN logic(his "zoned-out"/"cerebral" state) was a point of discontent,.... But some things I like have a few faults, including people. Plus,.... His suit(HOWEVER he had it) was cool too.

A bit of a shame they destroyed that suit, I really liked it. It was almost like a military version of the Spider-Man suit or something hydra would create, but with red replacing the green.

As much of a mess as ultimate spiderman is, I sapose there isn't much examples of savage spiderman outside of it in animated form aside from the 90s show

I think it's mostly to pull in views, but I guess it worked huh. He doesn't really seem all that different from venom to me, just less intelligent. He even has the same thing where his eye holes move as if that's his actual face.
