Wow published today! Jason, I started to work in IT in 1998. I have worked for Microsoft, Fluke Electronics, A small sharp dealer then worked for a IT/Telecom infrastructure company installing routers, switches cable and end point devices. I now work as a independent technician. I install Juiper routers, switches, upgrade HP Prolient servers in T-mobile data center. Did a repair on another server for US army and one repair for a IBM net-app server for Verizon. I am getting bit burned out driving everywhere in Seattle traffic. I never did obtain any comptia certificates. I have been having some challenges obtain a full time job in network administration. I have installed hundred's of network devices. I am ready to move in working for a campus as a employee. I wonder if skipping over the A+ would be a good idea? I am ready to work as a manager? Project manager?
