GameEdged found two sledge hammers on the wall at 20:32. But he looted the place before the quest and there was a bit more stuff there. Sorry but guess they disappear.

Kage - slow down when looting - there is a crowbar in the right hand portaloo at the checkpoint infront of your base - God knows how many times you didn't open that door
With the gas bottle on the crossbow, you may need flaming arrows/bolts so that they will ignite when they pass over the flame. Normal Bolts/Arrows wouldn’t catch fire and stay lit 🔥
you have to get the sledge hammers before starting the quest. The quest changes the POI
The crossbolts need to be dipped in oil as the guy said when you first went there to learn about it please and thank you 😊
Having it get so dark really gives you a reason to sleep through the night. I don’t like not being able to see but that’s because I like to do stuff during the night 😂 then I wind up with low energy
A burn barrels are the things to build, 1 or 2 will give you loads of light.
When you completed the kill nine bandits quest that unlocked the mechanics. Not just the crossbow making mechanic but also the two at the other survivor base that can give you the vehicle upgrades (roof racks etc)
level 3 does give you access to the rifles
Ive seen you run pat at least 3 crowbars to open the locked crates
7 day's to die 1.1 is in experimental . great content kage. the reason the bolts didnt light the bandits on fire was you replaced the practic bolts with stone bolts

The porta potty at the military checkpoint has a crowbar.
craft fireplaces they give off faint light and use no logs or electricity
Out of curiousity - go to the compound/roadblock next to the white house and check the blue porta pottys (porta potties?).
You gotta craft the or learn the recipe at the Smith at the trader for bolts, remebr he said you have to dip the bolt head in oil
maybe you need to make different arrows/bolts to use the fire?
KAGE......I know things Spawn at different places in the game right....I found 2 Sledge Hammers behind the Desk at the Ranger Station, but you've already done the Quest so too late on this........there's ALWAYS a Pickaxe in the Mine no matter what......
Did you remember the 3--slot bag in the Tunnel by the Sawmills ??.....and there's another bag Under the office at the Sawmills...

Why did i not think about it sooner - since all food have the same high value for traders you can harves apples and use for exchange
Infected do come durring the mist but atack only if youre outside
You cant repair any o big guns and i did not see any bandit dropping that shotgun yet

try using wooden bolts instead of stone see if they light
I think you need to take stuff out of hotbar when trying to upgrade them
try to make bolts where you made crosbow
