Well done, Talicia! I dont have an arena either and I totally agree with you about footing, the horses get used to it and more confident when you do ride them on good footing. I also like that you incorporate the bitless and break up the training to include some country trails with a stop to munch on some grass. My horses all love a bit of a stroll in the bush and around the roads and always seem to go better in their dressage work after a bit of a cruise. Good on you :)
Jeopardy is a true all rounder, I’ve done virtually every discipline one her. Eventing, barrel racing, polo-cross, show jumping, camp drafting, show horse and of course dressage. Dressage was my favourite which is why I chose to focus on that. Bambi was bred for dressage so has a natural talent for it but I also plan to expose her to different disciplines for experience 😊
