I also love this movie and its soundtrack, and have been listening to it on my iPod for years when I'm out and about.
This is an intro video that I made, and there is a scene in the movie where Sarah wakes up three times, and twice there is a scene where she takes what appears to be a psychotropic drug.
At some point, I began to think that that scene had a very important relationship to the story.🤔
I picked it up in my cover video this time.😋

Another classic! The first 20 mins of Dawn and esp this film ooze with desperation and tension. It's so palpable. Romero got it just right. Also had this in The Crazies too ,another classic. The middle section has those lovely sparse sections which make the feeling of disconnect real. They are safe ...but are they? The threat usually coming from other people mainly, the zombies are just there to capitalise on our mistakes. These are going on my playlist!

yes! Romero is excellent in making the audience understand the complicated situation of the story in a short time at the beginning.
Certainly, zombies proliferated due to human optimism and mistakes,
And the zombies will not miss even the smallest mistakes of those who escaped.
This tragedy is also advice for us.

Wow, this is a VERY solid job you've done, the passion you put into it is really visible!
The original music (one of my all time favorite movie soundtracks) gives the feeling that the apocalypse has taken over the world. The Caribbean touch makes you feel like death is lurking behind even a warm, sunny day at the beach.
In your version, the emphasis is more on the dark and gloomy atmosphere of the underground bunker, not the summer feeling of Florida, but the cold death underground.
You can feel the terror of the situation the characters find themselves in, as John described it, "A great big 14-mile Tombstone." Even the Caribbean tone toward the end feels like a facade, as if the Ritz is trying to hide behind lifeless plastic palm trees and posters of empty beaches from the dark abyss that exists not only in the salt mine, but in the outside world and even inside the military facility.
    Good Job!

As for the "feel" you mention, it's a flavor that only John Harrison can match.
I have come to respect him again this time.
I also like Dr. Franken's words, but let's put that aside.
The scene where John talks to Sarah in The RITZ is very impressive.

My all time #1 pick for a horror classic, this is the best zombie movie in my opinion, with Dawn coming in second, only because this one is actually scarier. I love the zombie origin explanation in Day better than any other version. “Maybe god thought we were getting too big for our britches, maybe he wanted to show us who’s boss again”. When he talks about the futility of keeping records and and how they should just fly away and live life is a great affirmation for anyone at anytime. A universal and useful concept. Better than toxic sludge that fell off a military truck in my opinion. I think if zombies do happen and it’s apocalyptic, it will indeed remain a mystery, the origin I mean, because it takes a whole world of people with PHD’s and Labs to figure out any scientific mysteries and if all that shit is gone than we dead and blind folks.

      Hi Joseph Henry Luckinbill✨✨
Thank you for writing such a wonderful comment!
Your opinion is exactly the same as mine, and I was impressed by your deeper consideration of this film.
"Night" focused on ordinary people, and "DAWN" focused on the military, media, and political system.
"Day" finally focused on a scientific perspective.
I think the explanation of the "R complex" and the mention of zombies having a limited lifespan were very exciting for people who like logical thinking.
And I think Terry's line in "RITZ" was very important for this movie.
The voodoo idea mentioned by Peter in "DAWN" stuck with me, but hearing Terry's idea in "Day" was an eye-opener for me.
And yes. The fact that the cause of the zombie outbreak is unknown throughout the series gives the film a sense of fear and realism.
In other words, the real thrill is that humans cannot arrive at the answer.
I'm sorry that I can't stop when I start talking... "LoL"
I'm very happy to have had a deep discussion with you.😃

Thank you for finding this video!
Thanks again for the fun question about music!
When I listened to it, it sounded like I was using a reverse effect (reverb or delay).🤔
However, I noticed that two different phrases were played besides the main phrase.
      Hidden phrases are polyrhythms.
(For example, a 3-beat loop for 1 bar)
