It’s partly Defne’s fault. She kept them get away with it. Ok family is important to her and so is Omer. Until when will Omer wait for Defne’s family to accept him? Omer is so handsome it’s fit to him the image of his character he is a loving person especially his family even they betrayed him and he is a passionate person the way he cook breakfast Defne so sweet of him , I love watching them both it’s look like. im a part of there lives .

This is what I don’t like about Turkish series. The family always have too much control over their members even if the person is their breadwinner. At her age, she can move out of the house she bought for them,live alone and she’ll be fine. Nonsense family as usual!

Nihan is not a good friend. I suspect she even had a crush on Omer. On that video call when Defne took the baby to work, she started putting on her best pose when she was asked to talk to Omer. You dont try to look good for your friend's man. I found that very weird. Plus she always goes on and on about how Omer is so handsome, so rich, so charismatic etc. She was secretly jealous of them
I can't stand any of Defne's family, except Esra. She's being manipulated by the rest of them to turn against Defne. Later on old grandma said she didn’t know what she did or said to make Defne leave. Really?? None of them take responsibility for anything. They all play the martyrs. Nihan and Serdar are the worst.
When the grandmother danced because Defne was getting married , it was so off to me because I've never in my life seen a grandmother move that way ! She was popping and I don't know It's unexplainable! I was shouting at the screen for her to please don't !

Can’t understand why the grandma is being so dramatic here…and why Serdar is looking so shocked and hurt….and Nihan, just couldn’t keep it in…both always expected Defne to come up with a solution for all their problems…only Iso turns out to be a real friend to both Defne and Omer…what about all the lies she had to tell Omer…or keep the truth from him until right before the wedding…thanks to the mess Serdar placed the family in…and poor Defne had to take drastic steps to dig them out of the hole!!! Defne’s entire family should know by now why Omer left her…how shocking that must have been for a guy who finally fell in love and was excited to get married…only to find out how his and Defne’s lives crossed right before the ceremony was to commence!! Both suffered in different ways when their relationship ended at the end of season 1. That’s my opinion at any rate…SO frustrating to watch Defne’s family acting as if they’re the victims here.

I honestly agree with you. They pissed me off but I also can honestly why the grandmother reacted the way she did, she was oblivious to the real problem here, was she a little dramatic, yes but I understand her.
How dare Serdar speak like that to his sister. He forgot all about his fault, and Nihan f....., just drives me crazy. Grandmother never knew the whole story can be excused since she only cares to feed all of them, make Defne to marry. She is in her old-fashioned lifestyle, fighting with neighbors' and gossip.
Nihan says she doesn’t ask Defne for anything-well Defne has your baby in her room at night to take care of, took him to work not to mention the biggest issue-she took on the responsibility of huge debt to help her brother so I would say she has done more then enough.
I like the fact that after everything Defne's family said, she still left to be with Omer. Grandma doesn't know the whole truth that's why she's overreacting. However, I think Grandma is genuinely concerned because of the trauma they saw her go through. But she needs to know all Omer's kindness to her family. As for Serdar and Nihan, they're too entitled. Nihan is pissed because Defne is no longer telling her every detail of what's going on. Serdar should be man enough to tell Grandma how Defne saved him from debt and who bought the house.

As I re-watch these episodes, I think the reason Omer has hard time telling Defne about the nightmares is because he doesn't want her to feel guilty for triggering them. Her gift was the trigger for his PTSD and he probably didnt know he had it.

I honestly agree with you. They pissed me off but I also can honestly why the grandmother reacted the way she did, she was oblivious to the real problem here, was she a little dramatic, yes but I understand her.
How dare Serdar speak like that to his sister. He forgot all about his fault, and Nihan f....., just drives me crazy. Grandmother never knew the whole story can be excused since she only cares to feed all of them, make Defne to marry. She is in her old-fashioned lifestyle, fighting with neighbors' and gossip.
Nihan says she doesn’t ask Defne for anything-well Defne has your baby in her room at night to take care of, took him to work not to mention the biggest issue-she took on the responsibility of huge debt to help her brother so I would say she has done more then enough.

I like the fact that after everything Defne's family said, she still left to be with Omer. Grandma doesn't know the whole truth that's why she's overreacting.
However, I think Grandma is genuinely concerned because of the trauma they saw her go through. But she needs to know all Omer's kindness to her family.
As for Serdar and Nihan, they're too entitled. Nihan is pissed because Defne is no longer telling her every detail of what's going on. Serdar should be man enough to tell Grandma how Defne saved him from debt and who bought the house.

Defne's family were extremely ungrateful.....Nihan was the absolute worse....her pettyness because Defne didn't walk her brother 100 steps for his anniversary was ridiculous.....Serdar was a male....not a man.....his wife pissed all over him....he only had mouth for Defne and the lil sister.....they all acted like defne was in the relationship alone, so she was the only person hurt....but ignorance is bliss.

Nihan is extremely selfsish. Not for one second does anyone respect the fact that Defne has her own life and responsibilities. They expect her to cater to everyone's needs but her own but they supposedly care for her so much that they completely dislikes what Omer did to her. They treat her like a child imo. They are hipocritical. Oh and then let us not forget that baby Iso sleeps with Defne in her room. Something I found strange from the beginning as. Plus Defne took baby Iso to work with her( although unrealistic in real life) like most ungrateful people Nihan does not realise what Defne does but only complains when she does not get what she wants. Terrible of Nihan and I always liked her. Let's see if she gets some sense
