I love the look of dried oranges, I need need to do that and make a little garland next year. I always love seeing the light angels in the streets. Oooohh, I loved the seahorses! I think those countdown to Christmas candles are the coolest thing ever! I would love to find one for next year. I watch someone else who is Danish, and she has those every year too, and I just think they are so cool! Looks like you got a lot of great Danish items for Christmas celebrations! You should definitely try drying oranges - my aunt used to hang up fresh oranges with cloves stuck into the skin with a red rippon and they gave a beautiful orange sent, very Christmassy. Glad you have a real tree. I refuse to get an artificial one. We get a balsam tree each year but have to leave it on the back deck because we have an old kitty and don't know if he will damage it. It is lit and watered and lasts until April. The small wild birds like it as well.
That sounds really lovely - and I can’t really see myself getting an artificial tree. We buy ours in a pot so it can get planted - we can typically reuse it 3 years before it needs to be planted. Yes, it is the best cinema experience when the seats are comfy. If you are missing something to do over Xmas, recommend Gladiator as a good watch. I completely agree, the Dior Xmas theme seems a little off this year, still pretty but not in the league of last year. I can tell that I was so happy to get some of the traditional Danish Xmas foods and treats - it would have been a little sad without it.
