Every time I visit I'm surprised by how much can change in such a short period of time! East Halls is THE place to live now - who would have thought?! Come a long way from the ethernet cable and box fan in the window, circa 2013.
It's changed a lot! I've been going to campus since about 2004, and in that time I've seen lots of me buildings go up. Right now, they're building a whole engineering campus on the west side of campus. It's going to be several buildings. I'm excited to see it built.
I think I got you all beat :) I was a student at university park, East Halls, Tener Hall (one of the four Towers) when it was brand-new (1970-1971) - and you could play Frisbee all day in the wide open guads between the dorms. Or, you could look out your window at the open expanse of Parking Lot #80 - and beyond the parking lot was the computer building and the astronomy scope. I try to do a virtual walk thru Google Maps, and there is practically NOTHING which I recognize (except Shields Bldg. still looks like a giant computer punched card.
Very, very cool! Appreciate all your time and effort in making this and sharing it with the world!
Thanks for taking us on this walk around our lovely alma mater 😊 East Halls has changed SO much even since we were there!

Beautiful snowy walk! Amazing that there is literally noone outside, just a car here or there
Winter break is a fun time to visit college campuses - I love having the place to myself! Cheers my friend.
Haven't been on campus since I graduated in 1999. Hardly even recognize it from this video
