For some that might not know but the reason why Day was taken back by what Mhok says to him in the last scene in Day’s bedroom was because; ”Fa dee na” was translated to just generic ”Good Night”, when actually more accurate/better translation is ”Sweet Dreams”. It’s usually said to someone very close to you like very close friend or a lover in thai culture if I remember correctly.
I love seeing you smile Topher it makes me smile too. This series can effortlessly makes us smile because of how beautiful these scenes. I love the scene in the fitting room, it was intimate. I love Mhok is very thoughtful towards Day, he's doing more than his job description that makes him genuinely care for Day. Then Day standing up for Mhok is everything! I love them so much 😭😭😭 Thank you so much Topher for this Last Twilight reactions.
I knew you’d love this series! It’s another of Aof’s great ones. He truly has a natural talent of bringing out the best performances of his actors, bringing the script alive. He must have a great team around him, cause that score too. Beautiful. I was emotionally invested after the first episode. So good! Thanks for your awesome reactions ❤
"it's adorable!" followed by "this episode is going to break my heart later isn't it?" made me laugh so hard! only three episodes in and you've already got the show's number 😂 btw i think the way mhok said goodnight at the end is like, very sweet and couple-y, and that was why day got so startled it brings me so much joy when you thirst over the older characters, like the hot professor, just like i do! and your comments during the product placement scenes always crack me up :D and it's just nice seeing you happy! thank you for another great reaction ♥♥♥ the soundtrack is so good! and i actually didn't notice the first time i watched (because i was so stressed lol) but the music goes SO HARD when day's lost 😭btw you seemed to be enjoying the better days song, the one you were humming along to! not sure if you know it's sung by both the main actors (there's so much to watch these days, not starting the sign is *absolutely* understandable! just fyi, for future reference - the sign has SO MANY NIPPLES 😂)
It really is a special series, I love it... I love your reactions, and the comments sections here as well. It's nice to rewatch this wonderful show like this
I love when someone actually notice little thing like when Mhok doing Day's hair..or when Day was blushing at the shop...and one thing..the scene when Day throw the pillow..actually Sea( Day ) was really shy for real..thats why he throw the pillow to Jimmy ( Mhok )😂😂😂😂😳😳🤭
Topher, you're on fire for giving us these back to back reactions 🤩🤩🤩 That's why you're one of my most favorite reactors here in youtube. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!!! 🥰🥰🥰
From my pov as a visually impaired person I can say that so far the series has been great. It has been consistant, the storyline and dialogue have been beautiful, character development have been shown in detail ect. The series has been filmed brillantly, it gives off a cinematic feel and the attention to detail hasnt gone unnoticed. Details like giving the viewers not only non visually impaired/blind persons pov on situations but also the pov of Day who is visually impaired/blind, is such a important thing and also for sure to some people an eye opening experience. Actors/actresses have done great bringing their characters alive in a way were they feel authentic and natural ect. The research, attention to detail, careful approach and the good & accurate potrayal of the blind and visually impaired community has truly been touching to see. Personally I can easily say that I can relate to and feel represented by Day’s character & series. I hope the series continues this way. What I love about MhokDay relationship is how we get to see it from the very start and slowly develop over time. How their relationship is starting to form slowly, first to a friendship and then is slowly turning into a romantic relationship. And how they have slowly started to get to know & learn from and about ach other, to trust & support each other and having honest/open communication with each other. Its nice to see how both of their walls start to go down as time goes on and them finding comfort from one and other that they seemed to have been looking for. Them finding a non judgemental and supportive person in each other and a safe zone. MhokDay’s indivitual character development and depth have also been shown very lovely until this point. With Mhok I always like to see how his character develops as person but also as a caregiver, which both are portrayed very well. Mhok clearly is learning and making progress as a caregiver. Its shown through mostly his actions but also verbally as well. He tries his best to learn and understand Day/Day’s needs the best he can, he treats Day like he would everyone, respects Day and his boundaries, listens and is open-minded and most importantly he isnt being condescending/patronizing towards Day and isnt Infantilizing someone like Day who has a disability. Mhok is also caring and supportive but not overly helpful. He is encouraging without being demanding or making decisions for Day. Mhok never lets Day feel defeated or embarrased and if Mhok himself makes a mistake or doesnt understand something, he takes his time to reflect and learn from his experience.
In this episode what really stood out for me was how Mhok started use more of descriptive speech when talking with Day. Like ”green shirt is on the fourth shelve” and telling Day when there are steps and how many each time ect. And also after cleaning Day’s room without talking to Day, I think Mhok learned from that experience. It can be seen now by them actually doing it together in this episode. After learning more about Day, Mhok easily notices when Day starts to feel anxious/afraid like for example in sudden change of surroundings, going to/being at unfamiliar or new places, being around groups of people or in public ect and him reasuring Day that he is okay, that he is with him and not to care about other people ect. Mhok does this verbally but also by physical touch. Day’s character development and journey is always something I look forward to. He is still on some level holding on to him being able to see in the future but is also making progress in his journey to accepting his disability, what comes with that and adapting to his life now. Day still has his struggles and learning to do but like said by Aon, ”Adapting takes time”. What has been seen through the series as of now is Day’s feelings of anxiety/fear ect sorrounding different situations. Example; Day getting anxious/scared meeting familiar/unfamiliar people & getting overwelmed by everything going on around him and him not being able to see it. Him getting lost and therefor not knowing where he is exactly is scary for him. I like that we did got to see a passerby at least notice and help Day a little. The detail of Mhok wearing the pink shirt cause it was bright color that which even Day can see/notice. It was clever and made Mhok stand out from the crowd more. MhokDay hugging and Mhok trying his best to make Day feel safe again just showed how a bond has formed between them. Day buying that tshirt with the white cane photo on it and talking to the professor about his condition/disability, It feels like that was in a way his first stage towards acceptance of his disability. Day also is slowly starting to advocate for himself and also adapting to his life now, which can be seen by him asking for help and accepting help when ever he needs it & him being more vocal about his needs, emotions and wants/dislikes ect, doing/trying to do things own his own, making decisions for himself/standing up for himself and also being actively part of making changes to his life like organizing his room with Mhok, it shows progress. All that was just mentioned is also helping Day gain back his confidence in himself and getting back his independence. Mhok and Day clearly have developed a friendship, they relationship is also constantly making progress forwards ect. It can be seen with them bickering, teasing/joking with each other like Day buying Mhok the pink shirt or when Mhok had Day’s glasses on which Day was trying to find ect & their comfortability with each other. All that being said, their want to understand each other is shown very well, for example by both of them testing each others; Mhok testing Day on his memorization of his things & Day on the other testing Mhok on identifying clothes or MhokDay organizing Day’s room together ect. Its like Mhok and Day live in world where both of them are being judged and looked down upon; Day because of his disability and Mhok because of his criminal past ect. But they have now found a person, that someone that can stand by their side, see past all that and for them to be understood. It was also good to see Day interacting with other people whom arent his family or Mhok ect. Like those who helped him when he was lost, his teacher, the bookstore owner ect. Him meeting new people/being in more of different peoples presence and also communicating with them, is something that will overtime help Day to start to feel less anxious ect when with people or in public. The Inflatable dinosaur costume scene was heartwarming to say the least. Mhok jokingly doubting that Day can/will even wear the costume ever again and Day saying ”Will see about that”. The look on Mhok’s face and then Day putting Mhok in the costume first was priceless. Mhok having the look of disbelief like his thinking how he ended up in the situation that he was in and then turning the situation into both of them wearing the costume & playing outside catch&find me. Day at first being a bit afraid but then starting to have fun, trusting himself and using his other senses to find Mhok, Mhok using noise like clapping his hand to help Day natigate him, them clinging on to each other after being caught, laughing and smiling… just everything was simple but beautiful in that scene. Day feeling tired but having a wide smile on his face tells that this must have been the first time in a long time he felt joy, was enjoying the moment and his time with someone and not alone. Like Mhok said in an episode before ”No more loneliness little Day” and he truly meant it. Day even wanting to remember this moment by taking a photo, is sign of how much Day liked it and his time with Mhok.
MhokDay scene where Mhok was trying to get a seat for Day but Day just stating ”My eyes don’t work but my legs do just fine” which reminded me of the fishtank scene where Mhok told Day to help him cause his hand work just fine even if he cannot see + What Day said reminded me of a scene from my school president. Day being straightforward and telling Mhok that all he needs is him, staying close to him. What I loved was the little details like use of physical touch to give reassurence from Mhok to Day as to let Day know that his not alone. This scene was a really important scene and realistic. Unfortunately people will only treat you as a person without disability if your disability is not visible to them. This is something that often happens to people with a disability especially in public transportation. People often times will assume you to not have a disability unless for example you would be using a white cane or you would have a guide dog with you ect. The changing room was so intimate. The tension seems to slowly be building between them which is lovely to see. The scene had this nervous/awkward vibe to it and at the same time it was beautifully shot. I love how we could see both Mhok’s and Day’s emotions/feelings on their faces, through their body language & their words/actions cause sometimes these types of scenes feel more one sided. I really liked the close-ups on Mhoks face. How he was flustered being this close to Day without the chance to make room between them. And the details of Day’s nervousness through his body language. Even in this situation Mhok kept observing Day’s face as he was helping him change into a white shirt, he was nervous but so was Day as well. Meeting between Day and his teacher was something very important to see. Day first having glasses on when arriving to the college and then taking them off in front of his teacher to reveal his situation/reason to wanting to quit. It could be seen how Day was nervous/anxious about doing so, but then over coming that.. I want to highlight the teacher cause personally I felt emotional for some reason watching this scene. The teacher not only apologize, he also empathized properly and was encouraging to Day. Even though both of their conditions are different, he still felt like they were in the same boat in way most likely cause he knows how it feels to be uncertain of your future and when hope is the only thing to hold on to. Him explaining to Day how/why they should try and live on with hope. Hope truly is the driving force for people to keep fighting forwards. Day showed how he trusts Mhok by agreeing to go to the library with Mhok when he offered to take him there. First I loved how the bookstore owner treated Day like everyone else even in their first meeting. He treated him just like he would treat Mhok ect. It was funny how the book price went up at first because he is Mhok’s friend, it was hilarious but then in the end Day got it a little bit cheaper. The moment where Mhok found the book Day was looking for but didnt just give it to him directly. He placing it so that Day could find it own his own. It nice how with even little things he is supporting Day’s independence ect. Day getting all happy and excited when he finally the book and Mhok seeing this, him seeing Day’s face light up is something he seems to treasure. Day’s family scenes in this episode were interesting to see. Day’s mother being suprised that Day was downstairs, was having different food and doing things himself/being independent, all of it gave me the feeling of how both Day’s mother and brother Night seemed to feel relieved, worried and happy at same time. Its clear that especially Day’s mother is very worried about Day which is understandable from a mothers pov but at the same time I don’t agree with how Day’s brother Night and his mothers treatment have been treating Day cause in my opinion it has held Day back and made it more difficult for Day to/continue to adapt to living with his disability. I don’t blame either of them though cause caregiver fatigue is a real thing but also this is a learning journey for them as well. I just wish they would have had researched on how to make their house more safe, accessible and organized for someone who is visually impaired/blind. And that they wouldnt have been so overprotective of Day, wouldnt have limlited/restrained Day from doing things by himself ect. There also seems to be a communication issue between them. Now it could be that they had tried to talk to Day before and it didnt work ect but it seems as though neither the mother or Night really ask Day how he feels or is feeling, never really having a longer conversation with Day which again isnt always their fault. Sometimes the feeling I get from them is how they are just telling Day that they understand which are just empty word at the end the day when you do not even make the effort to try to learn/understand. In the scene where Day’s mother brings up his college situation, she clearly isnt catching onto how Day is or might be feeling, what might actually be the reason for Day’s reaction. Mhok on the other hand now knows Day better like some of Day’s fears ect and he tries always to get to know more about Day and to see through the surface. He quickly connected how Day reacted to the topic of collage, Day refusing to go and visit his college and the unread message/calls/social media posts… To knowing that Day’s refusing to go has more to do with seeing his friends after the vision loss than anything else. Mhok going to talk to Day and to get him to possible open up to him. Him just listening without interrupting him, thats is what Day needs. Day needs someone to see him.. the person Day and to asks him how he is feeling, someone to listen and comfort him, to share things with and open up without having to fear of being judged ect. Of course the fact that Mhok isnt his family ect can make things easier like opening up. But the reason I like Mhok approach of Day more is because even though he may never understand how it feels to be Day, the experience of being a disabled person in todays society and all the struggles that come with that…Mhok still makes an effort to try to learn and to try to understand even if he were to able to only get tiniest bit of understanding. However both Day’s mother and Brother Night does care. Its just that their way of treating Day wasnt something he had wanted and the previous caregivers Day had before werent the right fit for Day either. I understand the way Day’s mother was worried because Day hadnt come back home yet for the first time in a while, and then being even more worried when seeing Mhok’s face. I just wish she wouldnt have immediatly thrown Mhok’s past at his face and even more so in front of Day who didnt know anything about Mhok’s past criminal record. I loved how Mhok continued to be honest with Day and Day accepted his past. What Day said really just implied how the past is the past, Mhok is now his caregiver and that past of his hasnt effected how he takes care of him. Even Night defending Mhok is nice to see. Since the beginning when Mhok was hired as a caregiver for Day it seems that Night has been very supportive of him being Day’s caregiver. When Day defended Mhok " he doesn't make me feel disabled", It personally hit home for me cause that how I who is visually impaired/blind or anyone for that matter want to feel. And just like myself, Day also wants someone who'll treats him like a normal person Day just wanting to know if Mhok is okay, how badly he was hurt. He didnt care to know what happened and neither did he need to cause he trusts Mhok. Then lastly Mhok just thanking cause it meant so much to him. The episode ending with that good night that Mhok told Day. Day blushing a little when he realized that Mhok saw him checking if the book really said "Good night". I do have to say that the audacity of Mhok for to not leave the room…jokes a side this was really good scene as well.
Topher, thank you for another reaction👏🏼 This feels like a christmas gift, and I’ll take it as that,🤣 Its always a fun time. This series really gets me emotional everytime. Can’t wait to see more of you🫶🏼 See you next time.
I told you ! You were going to love it…this was our anxiety episode when Day got lost. The smiling you will do with every episode and 1 made me cry no spoiler..so live for each week to get a new episode
@@kevin_10f I mean, they screwed up even with a clerical job of ensuring all copyright rules and agreements are properly taken cared of, they need at least to be able to produce quality series that can compete with Korean BLs. Thanks to P'Aof because even the big fandoms of some of their couples can't save them.
I agree, they got a nice foundation of friendship and feelings other than "you're so hot." I've been in a huge slump for BLs lately, since they're either just softcore porn, or really badly acted/written. But Last Twilight is one of the few quality shows ongoing in my opinion.
i'm not really into feet but just Sea's feet. oh, let me correct it... everything about him. 🙈🙈🙈 PS. i know Jimmy's more handsome and photogenic than Sea but i'm just charmed by him. 😝✌️🙈
For some that might not know but the reason why Day was taken back by what Mhok says to him in the last scene in Day’s bedroom was because;
”Fa dee na” was translated to just generic ”Good Night”, when actually more accurate/better translation is ”Sweet Dreams”.

HOLY SMOKES!

He must have a great team around him, cause that score too. Beautiful. I was emotionally invested after the first episode. So good! Thanks for your awesome reactions ❤
"it's adorable!" followed by "this episode is going to break my heart later isn't it?" made me laugh so hard! only three episodes in and you've already got the show's number 😂
btw i think the way mhok said goodnight at the end is like, very sweet and couple-y, and that was why day got so startled

Thank you so much for showering us with so many reactions. Last twilight save my week.
Also, Day's calm and reserved acting in this series, being soft mannered + his smile and laugh is reminding me of PP Krit.

Every time I see the scene with Day's professor, I always end up crying

And just like myself, Day also wants someone who'll treats him like a normal person
Day just wanting to know if Mhok is okay, how badly he was hurt.
Topher, thank you for another reaction👏🏼

GMMTV is just so lucky to have P'Aof work for them. These are all because of his directing and his inputs on the script.
Without P'Aof, what did they even have... just saying 😂
Your Reactions are always on point. Not one has been missed. 🤌🏻🙌❤
OMG thank you Toper, I didn't expect this reaction today because we just got ep 2 yesterday!!! ❤
I think M. just forgot for a minute the Day couldn't see well. Because he is doing so much better. They are very young for so much to be happening.
This is awesome! So glad you are reacting to this series. I LOVE MOHK!!! he can do no wrong. lol
Series of the year? I enjoy verry much watching it but...ive seen I Feel You Linger In The Air! Thats my series of the year!❤
TOPHER I CANT HANDLE THESE QUICK UPLOADS 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
"I want see more of him in the seriies. Not only for his look...i like his energy!" Realy? Topher Topher!😁😁😁
I agree, they got a nice foundation of friendship and feelings other than "you're so hot." I've been in a huge slump for BLs lately, since they're either just softcore porn, or really badly acted/written. But Last Twilight is one of the few quality shows ongoing in my opinion.
This series IS special
i'm not really into feet but just Sea's feet. oh, let me correct it... everything about him. 🙈🙈🙈
PS. i know Jimmy's more handsome and photogenic than Sea but i'm just charmed by him. 😝✌️🙈
From now on, let's all buy pirated versions of the games Square Enix create
Another reason think you toper ❤❤
