    Great build, but having gone to the KJN website, there are multiple options. Wonder if it would be too much trouble for you to detail the exact product codes required please.
    Cheers.

    Hi fantastic build it has motivated me to make my own just one question how far back did you drill the 8mm holes on the base for the joystick

      @@linkzydiybuilds7158 Great thanks. That's much cheaper than a lot of the premade ones I have been looking at and fun to build too.

    Brilliant stuff. Quick question: are the slots in that 40x80mm profile 8mm or 10mm? I'm assuming it's the latter, seeing how you went with D17 holes and presumably 10mm 90° quick connectors.

    Awesome! I did something similar myself, but using L shapped connectors that slot in both profiles, instead of a pre-drilled quick connector with T bolts. Wonder what's better long term.
    No issues with using M6 slide blocks in 4080 profiles?

      None at all slipped in easy and locks super tight.
      Thought they might of been a bit on the flimsy side but locked great.

    Are you able to put part numbers to the M8 & M6 Slide Blocks please, there are allot of choices and I don't want to get the wrong ones please. Thanks.

    Hi
    Would a 20 x 40 profile work for the mount?
    Could not fine 40 x 80 where I am

      Yeh it will just be smaller i guess should be just as strong just make sure to get the holes rolled to fit the fittings

    Hi, I'm looking to build some of these desk mounts for my thrustmaster warthog stick and twcs throttle. What width and depth extruded aluminium did you use for the frame, and what was the size of the grooves in it?

    • @linkzydiybuilds7158
      @linkzydiybuilds7158  3 роки тому

      See the bonus of having the sliders you can move them to the desired point..if your unsure about the extrusion go slightly longer

      @@linkzydiybuilds7158 thanks! Please let me know. I'll have to work out what length pieces I'll need as I've got an extension for my stick, just not sure what the width and depth the actual extruded aluminium is on yours so I know which ones to order.

    • @literate-aside
      @literate-aside 3 роки тому

      @@the88tench3 that's looks like 3060 aluminium T extrusion. Normally the supplier also provides appropriate hardware for the grooves, but you can just check the technical drawing to ensure hardware will fit.
      3060 is an industry standard.
