I am obsessed with Fan Bingbing's gown! I love everything about it, the fit, the fabric, the feather detail, the color...wow! Now that's a red carpet gown! My favorite out of all the looks by far.
I love how you describe each look in detail. I feel like those with vision impairments would really find this helpful. Also, Balenciaga hasn't been forgotten by us regular, everyday folk. They are vile and should never be able to do business again.
You're right about that. My mother doesn't see well at all anymore, but she loves listening to Luke talking about clothes because of how he describes it. She get a really good idea of how it looks. The only thing that gets a bit problematic for her is that she's not very good at english, but now she at least will get some practice!
What I think is especially cool about Lisa's look is that this is actually a men's suit, and it is styled exactly as it was on the runway (saw it on Insta). It's so cool to me that she can take a men's suit and make it a statement piece as if it was created for her. Love it!
That Victor & Rolf is beyond! I've been sewing garments for nearly 60 years and that must have been a real puzzle to make and fit.
