Oz track suck. Took my car to Oz track for a full rebuild and was totally disappointed. Left my car Leaking oil from left Rocker cover that was not put on properly leaking coolant from a loose hose poor dyno results.Ended up having to take it to Sam's performance 3 months later to do the job right. And ended up stroking to a 383 sending heads to higgens and using all forged parts. Don't throw your hard earned money away and go to someone good the first time. Sam's is an LS expert. Can't be happier. 100% honest story.
Zac Morrison I can't find any evidence to support your theory. Its a GMpowertrain project that started in 91 and first saw light of day in the 97 vette.. Several years before it made it into a commondore. It's true Holden continued to develop it independantly of GM/Chev.. But that is not an Aussie engine.
Hi GuysLove your UA-cam clips. Professional. Is the tune done on road, and just wondering how Andrew gets a air fuel ratio right as on a dyno a sensor is placed in the rear tailpipe. Dose the commodore computer give a ratio reading? Saying that I agree a tune can be done on the road as I have done a simple tune on a 1977 Charger with a Haltech computer, a 5v sensor and a air fuel ratio gauge in the car. Brother drove and with a laptop on my lap got the mixtures right which we did it with a 2 hour drive - had to take a Aspro after. Whose licence is at risk !!!Keep up the good work and keep them coming.
Why has no one designed a twin pipe system that scoops air from the bottom near the road , you have cooler air closer to the road ! I don’t get this OTR stuff surely you get hot air up the top
dosnt mafless tuneing loose 15 hp. as u remove the ability for the ecu to measure the amount of air so it hunts.arn u better to add the maf sensor to the throttler body and mount the otr directly to it............... are u losing or gaining anything also ant dyno sheet to compare ..... to maf or not to maf
The only way to do this is get a mafless tune , replace that air intake and put in a full force 3” exhaust with extractors I would dip extractors in ceramic the cost I worked out how to do this is very high it will cost you $2500-3000 to get hypothetically 300rkw !! So it’s not as simple as this video makes out and it’s not really worth butchering your car to be able to be the fastest on the road speed which you can not really use anyway , I have a nice very original 5.7 litre V8 VY calais , been really well looked after and is immaculately original black in colour and looks classy as it is , any mods I do will be a waste of money and devalue the car

The hood closes over the top of the intake (with both stock and the new over-the-radiator intakes), doesn't that restrict airflow a fair bit?
