Just opened my first Pokémon pack in 5 years yesterday, I was at GameStop with my friend and he picked it out for me and said to buy the 4$ pack with my left over change and I said okay, so we opened it right at the counter, and the cashier and my friend saw the edge of the card and started getting excited (btw I’m a noob to Pokémon so I had no idea what was happening this entire time) and when I got the last card they started freaking out because it was a rainbow rare charizard vstar, I just thought it was cool because it was a charizard, but my friend told me how much it was worth and I immediately freaked, I had no use for it but I had use for money, so we went to our local card store and sold it!
One time I bought 2 packs and one of them was my first ever brilliant stars pack and I pulled this card and I didn’t know it was worth this much and I wasn’t surprised 😂
I'm still chasing the alt art, but I think I need to just buy it at this point. I've opened up 6 booster boxes, 3 ETBs, 1 Pokemon Center ETB, 3 3 pack blisters, 3 pre-release build and battles, and 1 case of 144 single blisters... I hope you pull one of the big Zards soon!!
That's amazing! Are you still opening more Brilliant Stars or did you decided to stop after that? I still haven't pulled alt art Charizard which is my #1 chase, and I want to, but I think it's best I just buy it at this point.
