I totally got the tropical passion fruit feel but then it starts to smell like Turkish delight to probably due to the rose and orange blossom. It’s in the the realm of velvet vanilla by Mancera and imperial club de nuit (however not cloying). Longevity is great too and I as much as I want to use it everyday I think the longer it sits, the better it will be.

oooh, I bought this last month and it is so beautiful. I think one of my top favourites. Sakeena, Emaan and Haya are so wowww. I love the three of them. 😍🤩 The boxes are amazing as well.

I told myself half a year ago to no longer blind buy, but the pyramids of especially Sakeena and also her blue brother seemed so interesting, that I just had to have them. So, they're on their way together with Raghba Wood Intense (found all of them, together with Afaq, cheaper in a German webshop). And I got Lamsat Harir by Arabiyat blind too. The latter is really, really nice (if you like Tuberose fragrances that are done elegantly, she's for you). I really needed a good tropical gourmand like perfume and now hearing you, Sakeena's exactly going to be that! Lattafa is really present in my collection nowadays, but after Lamsat Harir I'm definitely checking out Arabiyat more! I saw a gourmand type perfume that seems delicious for next winter!

Can't wait to see what you think (I only have a 2ml sample, and I need a lot of perfume to smell it, so could only test 2 days). It'll be the deciding factor, that video. So far you've not steered me wrong 😉.
I have Lamasat Harir and really enjoy it. I just ordered Sakeena and hope it will be a good addition to my collection. What did you think of it when you received it?
@@ambermename1370 Honestly? Not a fan so far. I'm letting it sit for now, macerate. There's a note in there that smells awful on my skin, rotten almost (I fear it is the passionfruit) and somehow that's also almost the only thing I smell. Usually that means it is either damaged through travel or needs maceration. Sometimes both. I hope that's the case and it'll get better. For now I really hate it, despite the gorgeous packaging.
Spring/ summer fragrances are always so difficult for me. Except for all the Lattafa Prides I got over the last few months the rest of my (blind) acquisitions seem like an epic fail so far (Wasn't supposed to blind buy anymore but yeah).
I'll give you the list with a short description. Maybe it'll be useful.
- Al Haramain Junoon Rose (very expensive mistake if it stays like this), supposed to be luxury powdery rose, but smells like cheap a** toothpaste on me (you know, the full grungy white stuff).
- Ajmal Shine: pyramid seems delish, reviews all positive. But I get barely anything from it. What I do get is blegh. Weak & watery generic perfume smell w/ very damp earth-patchouli 😒.
- Swiss Arabian Hamsah: supposed to be a fresher Scandal by JPG. Errr, I get mostly yellow citrus ...But, the dry down does show something honey ish. Vaguely, but promising hopefully. Hoping for a maceration miracle 🙏. If so it'll be a true keeper.
- Roberto Cavalli - Paradiso Assoluto: waaaayyyy too fresh & clean for me. Probably lovely on someone who digs that. I need a heavier-sweet juice.
- La Rive My Delicate: supposed to be dupe for Chanel Allure/Dior Joy. Not getting that. But...70% of La Rive fragrances need weeks or even months of maceration. So not selling just yet.
- La Rive Wave of Love: Eclat D'Arpege dupe. Same story as Cavalli. Too fresh-light for me. Nice scent though. Lightly floral sweet. Excellent summer edp. Will gift my mom.
- Lattafa Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends: honestly, I love it. But...projection & longevity is ABISMAL. Truly hope it'll become stronger because this is such a special summer fragrance. No citrus, no floral
No, it's tropical fruit meets spices and a touch of clean oudh. Unexpected! And yummy. But quality so far is atrocious. Will keep it though.
- Mauboussin My Twist: got this a year ago, just didn't use it. The scent has potential, this too is a spicy fruity frag, just a red fruit and peppery, but like its Lattafa sister: soooo weak! At the moment therefore a fail too. But keeping it as well.
- Ajmal Viva Viola: this one seemed a fail, but has matured for 4wks now and becoming nice. A red&dark fruity frag w/ hint of floral and powderiness that softens the tartness of blackberries.
- Last, but not least, several attars by Al Haramain. And they're all such disappointments 😭.
1. Dhahab: smells exactly like Golden Sand from El Rehab. I hate that frag- oil, so since I've not touched the roller ball yet: sell!
2. Noora. Such a pretty jewellery box packaging! But the scent is mediocre as can be. Simple floral that's extremely close to their 'Sultan' - which I also never use. For sale probably, if it doesn't start smelling better when opened.
3. Narjis: gorgeous attar bottle, truly. But the fragrance wafting from said bottle is the opposite. Zero similarities to the pyramid. Yuck to my nose 🤮. For sale.
4. Amira Gold. I don't smell *anything*! Unless maceration helps, another sale.
Dang, so much money spent. And almost nothing to show for it (haven't opened Lattafa Emaan btw, Sakeena's blue brother. The pyramid is so similar to what I own that I'm thinking of selling it/swapping it).
I hope you'll enjoy your buys! If you have any 'must have' Arabs, let me know. I'm a white floral fan, appreciate rose and peony, like fruity frags too (mostly fresh-sweet, like juicy red and purple mostly), gourmands, ambery vanilla...

Hello Cee, great review. Here in Paris I only found the blue bottle Eemra s'ing like that. That's dupe to Gucci bloom but more fresh... Had it for 25 euros.

@@CeeChroniclesTalkingScents ooh yeah I understand. Tubéreuse is so loud. Have you ever tried "4" from Boucheron or maybe Pleasure from Estée Lauder? They're florals but you'll maybe like them. Btw, I received "Shalimar oud "that I layered with" Ragba wood intense" + "Jasmin mystérieux" maison Maïssa + "Sacred" from Louis Cardin... Ooh my Gosh... Can't stop smelling me too much compliments e'where... A Bomb it is s'ing else... As far as I'm concerned I always layered since X years with X numbers of perfumes until I get the scent I want...but consistently on the same scent profiles or good matches...
My scent of the day was al oud amethyst lord have mercy sis was smelling good all day. Tomorrow will be Sakeena wish me luck

Hey Cee, I smelt this at a shop today and was just wowed by it, stunning fragrance. Can't wait to get it. It smelt similar to Ajwad to my nose but without the metallic opening. Bet they would later well together. Glad you love it. Can you rate the three from your most fav to least?

I really tried to like this scent but I couldn't

It made me so sick ...it also reminds me of ajwad and both made me feel sick...I am actually following reviews about it and Ajwad so I can avoid all similar scents cause I tend to blind buy perfumes alot.

I’m always on a hunt for good alternatives. As soon as l come across the Bond dupes from the Middle East l will bring them here. Meanwhile try Perfume Parlour, they have the oils and perfume versions of the Bond no 9s

Yes. I get a fun fragrance in this. I love both but would get a backup of this. Though Haya is beautiful with that Champagne note, it’s DNA is in some fragrances lv used before eg CH VIP the pink one.

I don’t know of any from Lattafa but Al Rehab has one called Rasha. It’s a spicy take to Gucci rush. 😍
