Let Harbaugh do his job. Who knows better? Who knows the players? If they can play let them. Harbaugh is winner. He does not lay down. He does not concede. Trust your coach! BTFU!
This is an integrity check for Harbaugh. Herbert will always be game to play. It’s Harbaugh’s job to sit him. It takes courage for him to force Herbert to sit. If he doesn’t, he’s a bad coach.

We can trust Harbaugh and still have opinions…
Has anyone considered that the coaches are trying to play mind games with the chiefs. Remember this isn't the Stanley era anymore.
Selfishly I want him to play just to see a somewhat competitive game, but I think it’s a terrible idea to start him especially with Slater and Alt not playing… 2-2 is completely fine with me as long as it means we get a healthy team by Week 6. Definitely the smarter move to rest Hebert.
Tend to agree
This decision will tell us a lot about the coaching staff. He needs to sit period.
With no Slater or Alt, not to mention the 2 key pieces of Minter's D.... just rest them all (including Herbo) and GET HEALTHY over the next 2 weeks.
In his presser Jim said there's not that many good players left on the FA list to go after. But... how about Coleman? The ex Steelers C.
Need tough leadership, if Herbert can start than the other softies on the team can to. Get Dissly and Matlock to help block and make this a trap game for the Chiefs.
The coaches know the players better than you two do.With all the Harbaugh hype just trust them.I do.
That’s great for you. We can still have opinions that differ from theirs.
Who knows, if he does play who's to say he can't make it worse!? A higher grade sprain? We all know Justin's a tough guy but if he makes it worse than he could be out longer. They could use a 2 TE look to help with the protection also? But I'm definitely not Jim. Just my 2 cents, like everyone else.
That’s always the risk until he rests
Steven try Holbox and Komal for lunch
In DTLA?
Nabers 😢
Alt!
@@l_doubble_e.p1162 what about him? Solid RT? Doesn’t make the Oline look better bc Herbert still got killed. Nabers makes the Giants competitive and allows Jones to get the ball out quickly bc of how fast he gets separation.
@@Bruins31Joe Alt is already one of the 5 best RT’s in the game. And Nabers isn’t getting force fed the football in LA like he is in NY.
@@Bruins31 - it starts in the trenches. A majority of the teams that reach the AFC & NFC Championship game have a stellar o line. The Chargers o line is ranked higher than it was last season. They have one of the top rushing offenses in the league. Herbert has been pressured more than any other QB since entering the league so drafting Alt was a wise move. The Bengals have had success with Chase but Burrow has missed a lot of games because they haven’t had the best o line, whereas the Lions drafted Sewell and now have arguably the best o line in the game. . The Chiefs have won it all two yrs in a row without Hill. They have a stellar o line & rushing offense. The issue with the Chargers o line is more in the middle which I’m sure Hortiz will address. Hortiz has done a great job but he can only accomplish so much in just one off-season.
