When I heard that Olympique Lyonnais Feminin were looking to sign an American player (after Alex Morgan) I thought it had to be Mallory Pugh rather than Morgan Brian.

What has happened to Mallory Pugh since coming back from her injury, she has not been the same. She came up from high school and I remember the hype around her. She came out of high school as one of the top prospects. She started off quite well in January 2018 against Denmark but following her injury, she did not seem like that same player. At the start of the 2018 season, people started to project her as the starting right forward. Following her injury though she did not seem like the same player. For a player that was hyped up so much as being the kind of player she was and then to see her on the bench for most of the World Cup, I have to wonder will she ever regain that form that we saw at the start of 2018??
She's young and strong. She's only going to get better.
